I actually meant ignorant. In high school too, she was ignorant towards all sort of gossips people did about her relationship with SY or how she was prideful because of her beauty.

Aunt's brother entered one night in her room and tried to SA her but she was saved by her uncle. Her family asked her to not complain to police but she did. Her mother didn't supported her and left her to fend for herself. (She was just a teenager at this point)

They don't realize how tough it is for a girl who has been through SA to speak out loud. It is shameful for her because that was what society made her feel. She might be wrong at times but she can't be rude on face to someone who had done her nothing wrong. She has difficulty saying no, even to SY. It is not surprising. Being an introvert is her nature. She tries to stay away from conflicts as much as possible but when needed, she do take stand for herself too. She had always been ignorant, since childhood. She had been hurt so many times that now she is numb to pain and people don't realize it. I see people complaining why she is not telling everything to SY. There are many reasons. She don't want him to feel burdened too and just want to make him happy in their relationship. It takes time. She had opened up on so many things which she never dared to share with anyone which is a development.

There is no cheating. Both the leads have no one in their life except each other and are very loyal towards each other. It is happy ending. In the novel, they even had two kids.

If you like fluffy stuffs then this might not be for you but this drama too has its fair share of fluffy things. ML is privileged while FL go through a lot of issues. This is a slow burn with melancholic vibes which at times is balanced by humor or romance. If you enjoy slow burn and yearning kind of romance, I will recommend you to watch initial six episodes before deciding to watch it completely or drop it.

It was not exactly a betrayal. She broke her promise and rejected him because at that time, she just heavily traumatised, just wanted to survive somehow and didn't wanted to drag a teenager into her mess.

I don't think so. SZ and SY had nearly a different of 7-8 years. So, even I was confused seeing SZ so young but maybe as she is not the center, they didn't really focused on it.

We need to wait for next episode to know that though she went to her mother's place and confronted them, saying if they dared to harm SY, she will call police and fight them.

Opening up for a person like her is tough. It is the darkest part of her life. She might not say it, but she had been blamed for it and it is one of the things with Victim of SA that they tend to feel shameful or embarrassed because of how they were treated at that time. People like her aunt and that creep fed her is that she was the responsible one because she seduced him. Even in today's episode, he said it was her fault that she seduced him and he will tell everyone. So, not being able to open up about this is understandable.

Even SY hid about raid because he knew WYF's reaction. This is a phase for them to trust and rely on each other and come out stronger.

No. Though SY was smug, MCY looked thankful because he noticed how WYF was upset. He didn't wanted to intrude like before, so he gave address to SY because WYF was surprised to see him.

Remember when SY looked back and MCY smiled. It was clear that he called SY.

You can see the disgust, resentment and lifelessness in her eyes. She seems tired of all of them, especially her mother because at this point, she didn't said anything to her mother in novel but in drama, she had done it thrice.Even in the novel, she was always calm with no anger issues at all, completely opposite to SY.

She is not the type to scream and waste her energy especially when she knows it won't affect any of them. It is one of the qualities SY fell for, her calmness.

Also, he called SY to the place when he saw WYF was disturbed. I liked that gesture too.

Yes. That was where she changed her application form too. The next ep is set in HK and after that, the emoji tells us that it will be flashback kind of thing because in the novel, a whole chapter had details of what WYF had gone through.

She seems like someone who loves her own comfort. She knows her second husband loves his daughter, so to be in his good books, she became a good mother to her. In simple, she replaced WYF with Zheng Kejia.
