The theme is different. It is a slowburn and a second chance romance. If you don't enjoy extreme fluff or sad dramas, you may like this one. It has melodrama but also comedy and fluff too. Chemistry is good and storyline is solid but you need to be patient in the initial 6-7 episodes as you might feel it is slow.

The main part is still left. They will explore it.

WYF reported him to police but her family gave statement in his favor and it was an attempted one too. So punishment was not heavy.

2. After the assault at her place, she contacted the police immediately and still had the courage to sooth the perpetrator's wife and kid. She was not that financially stable so stop blaming her for living at that place. She lived with a family having a woman and kid, who would have thought that man to be so vile.

3. Her senior at work place almost harassed her, his wife slapped her too and even blamed her. But she had collected all the proofs that clearly showed she was not in the wrong. She left that place not because she was scared, but she was really tired. She came back to Nanwu because the place holds significance in her life.

4. When those men chased her, she didn't froze or anything. She literally saved herself. Not asking SY for help was because of her own reasons. She really didn't wanted to drag him into it. This was the only time SY helped her.

5. When her senior at work questioned her, she replied back so politely yet felt like a slap on his face.

6. She was just 17-18 but going against her own mother and family, she filed complaint against that excuse of a man which is really tough because you know that no one is going to support you.

This is what maturity really is. Her experiences had made her mature. She has bearing capacity. She don't need to scream or throw tantrums to come across as strong. Not everyone has the same way of handling problems, especially when she knows she really has no one to back her up like other Zhu Yi's FLs. She is resilient and she always speaks up when she thinks it is needed. Otherwise, she just want to keep herself away from prying eyes because being in spotlight never brought any good to her. SY is not her protector as you people make it. He cares for her but most of the time, she protects herself. That is how she had survived for six years. This world, no matter the place, is always rough for woman.

No more jealousy from any side if they go by novel.

He fell in love at first sight when he saw her dancing during military training program. The classes started after that. In the novel, it was not clear that SY planned the meeting or not but in the drama, it seems like Sang Yan planned it to make WYF notice him.

HL leads are not in a relationship yet. Main characters are 25 and 26 respectively( They are nearly three months apart.)

People haven't really seen how WYF really is when her guards are down. She is extremely considerate and gentle. These were the qualities SY fell for. She had always cared about him but now, she don't feel shy to show it.
