This show! The acting in episode 3 -- from both the kids and the HS versions -- is just amazing. And the vulnerability in Nan Xi's eyes! I also love how he bows his head so she can ruffle his hair.
I normally hate the "we met when we were small kids" trope but it's just perfect here. I'm on episode 6 and have such high hopes, please don't break my heart Show.
Love the scene from Ep 12, when the mentor (talking about noble idiocy) said: "Even if I did it for her own good, I took away her right to love someone properly." So real!
And another gush (because I am such a proud auntie): the cast, despite beingg so young, are just nailing their roles. The ML barely made an impression on me in Falling Into Your Smile, but he was just perfectly shy, awkward and sincere in this show. Only goes to show that given the right script, and direction, young actors can really own the character! Oh, these puppies! I want to pinch everyone's cheeks and put them in my pocket.
OMG this show is pure happiness. When you feel more happy and giddy watching them hold hands for the first time, than shows with scenes with heavy skinship. I want to be young and fall in love for the first time again, waaah.
Can someone spoil me with synopsis of ep 11, because judging from comments I should just skip that episode and go wait for the final instead, if only for my mental health 😄
I know it's not a popular opinion, but I somewhat gotta agree with Jack. Not to the extent of them breaking up,…
My thoughts exactly. They both have their own condos, plus mobile phones where they can message to meet somewhere private. Half the plot problems would've been solved just by following standard workplace etiquette 🙄 it makes the whole "genius, driven CEO with high professionals standards" less believable
Chemistry is amazing but ... There was do much lying and deception I can't completely get into the romance. The Annabelle comment, esp given the context of that conversation, was downright cruel and not well addressed later on.
So cute and fluffy. Not the smartest or most brilliant drama, but it felt like ice cream on a hot day if that makes sense, Empty calories but soooo satisfying.. Watched this while doing overtime at work and helped relieve my stress. If anyone can recommend shows like this, would appreciate it!
After this and the other Thai shows I recently watched I feel like juice drinks and Nivea micellar cleanser should be listed as an MDL character or tag 😁
