This drama exemplifies the truth that fictional characters who dote on you round the clock but have no personality on their own will be really boring in real life.
"What kind of look did they want to capture on my face?" I love how this show captures the dark underbelly of celeb life and the people who manage them in a real but funny way, but some lines make me really, really sad.
I admire how this show took on difficult topics that society likes to shove under the carpet, but OMG after each episode I feel like I need a debriefing and a drink.
It seems silly to complain about the romance being "fast". Not every k-drama needs a slow burn romance. Variety…
True! And after watching Japanese dramas where characters can go from total strangers to getting married in the first 30 minutes of Episode 1, my definition of "fast" has completely changed LOL
Does the FL get better at all? I am only on episode 10 and find her insensible behaviour almost intolerable and…
No, there is no character development. You either think she's cute or she's not, there is no in-between LOL. I finished the show, but with increasing irritation at every major character
This drama was fun at the beginning, but painful to complete. I don't like how the ML ended up having to apologize for everything even when the FL was clearly being a brat. That's not how a relationship works, and kind of equates devotion with allowing somebody else to emotionally manipulate you. And wait ... GIVEN THAT, how is SMART MALE LEAD an actual tag for this drama? Once he got together with the FL, he spent the rest of he drama trying to placate her temper tantrums.
And Rou Rou had the personality range of a can opener: pouting, crying, clinging to her boyfriend, or looking confused whenever anyone asked her a question.
I have a pretty high tolerance for drama tropes but whatever charm the characters had in the first few episodes disappeared by the second half.
This is one of the most honest, beautiful depictions of loving relationships -- romantic, friendship, family. Each episode moved me, sometimes making me laugh and sometimes making me ugly cry. I know I will be rewatching this many times in the future.

Ep 9 was beautiful.... Ugly crying
