Definitely a mood watch: it's cute if you just want to turn off your brain and just need something light, but annoying if you want strong characters. I was somewhere in the middle: I wanted something fun, but did not like the FL character development and some elements of fat shaming. Anyway, as with many Cdramas, this is fun if you have one finger on the fast forward button.
It's a light, fun no-brain watch between heavy dramas or when you have a low attention span. Just lower your expectations and enjoy the ride. I watched the whole series in one day in between really stressful meetings. It served its purpose of entertaining me when I didn't have the energy to focus on a heavy plot.
Really enjoying this so far (am on ep 12). So surprised that the cast is so young and new to industry, but the acting fees natural and charming. I hope to see them in more projects soon!

Happy ending. No love triangles bec everyone is honest from beginning. Romance yes but slow boil ... They like each other, have to slow down, bit there's a lot of tenderness in between before it picks up again later on. But I love how they stand by each other all throughout, no noble idiocy and stupid conflicts
This drama was honestly not doing it for me, and forced myself through most of the episodes. I hated the brother, the ex, even the spoiled girl friend. Honestly, sometimes the best part of the episode was Yang Mi's outfits and Xu Kai being Xu Kai.
But reading the recent comments I think I will save myself the time and trouble and drop it. I only picked it up because of Xu Kai but maybe I should just rewatch Falling into your Smile, hehe.
