What did he do wrong in your opinion? Report the flaw of Zhou's company to authority? or Owning Han Hai before…
No, not that he can separate business from personal but that he didn’t discuss things with JX before it all came out. Even if they weren’t dating, she’s a business partner and CEO. While he openly talked about plans with Han Hai CEO, he didn’t do that with JX when it concerns her company.
He has just a bit more to have veto power. When he gets the shares from Tongke in exchange for Guangsha shares,…
Guangsha has Xiao Bai, AI technology which is what Tongke needs to compete against Dongyang. Guangsha is also more developed/established and worth more than XingChen, a new start up, so it was a no brainer on Tongke’s side to take Guangsha’s shares. It wasn’t for ZD.
Similar to what ML did in "Rising With the Wind," where ML invested in FL's company out of love, despite planning…
That’s what his grandfather was worried about. That’s why I feel that the betrayal/backstabbing was on both sides and they needed the break up to have a cleaner start.
So are the shares of Xing Chen spead evenly among JX, HT, and Su Zhi Zhou? If that’s the case, how can HT decide…
He has just a bit more to have veto power. When he gets the shares from Tongke in exchange for Guangsha shares, he has majority and can decide on the merger. JX’s agreement is then only a formality but not a necessity.
Remember he hasn’t discussed anything with her so in her mind, she was making one last ditch effort to keep…
Th VP position allowed her to grow because she eventually becomes CEO. I don’t disagree that what she did was stupid and based on emotions but I can also see where her emotions are coming from. Yes he let her run XingChen on her own but once again, he already had plans for XingChen from the beginning that he was hiding from her. He just couldn’t execute it because he needed her to prove herself to his grandfather and he didn’t want to snuff out her dreams too early. I don’t think she would have done what she did or feel the way she did if HT told her before outsiders did and basically involved her in the direction of the merger. When they talk through things, she sees the perspectives and is able to control her emotions and will make the right choices. What happened between them was needed so they can have a clean start again. It was also a lesson learned for her on the ruthlessness of the big business world. HT would have killed off XingChen before it even started if she accepted HY’s investment offer. I’m waiting to see if they bring that up.
Either way, I love both characters and can’t wait for them to get through the break up.
😆 the bedroom in the apartment reminds me of the description of the office bedroom with the high windows. I remember she wanted the window curtains closed and he didn’t 😈
Their upcoming break-up is the biggest reason JX is unfit to run a company. I understand her, but what she did…
Remember he hasn’t discussed anything with her so in her mind, she was making one last ditch effort to keep her company. He was always going to take her company away from her so they basically backstabbed each other. He can separate the business from personal so didn’t even think about a break up.
What did he do wrong in your opinion? Report the flaw of Zhou's company to authority? or Owning Han Hai before…
The only thing in my opinion that he did wrong is not discussing the idea of the Han Hai Xing Chen merger with JX when he knows how much Xing Chen means to her. He literally has her in the palm of his hands and could have talked her into it but he’s using it in the game with his cousin and doesn’t want her to see that ruthless side of him. That’s the difference in their personalities. He’s able to separate business and personal and she is still figuring that out.
What's with the Han Hai Boss? I didn't understand what he meant about Xingchen? HT responds "Han Hai Xing Chen"?
Han Hai boss is basically saying that Donyang board of directors is not going to allow room for 2 companies that are the same meaning HT is going to have to do something about XingChen. HT’s solution is to merge HanHai and XingChen…but he hasn’t told JX yet. Basically planning everything to do with JX’s business without JX’s knowledge.
Qin Li will be there for 2 episodes max per novel. He tries to pursue JX but she doesn’t really pay attention…
No, he works for a different AI company that Donyang will collaborate with. JX, as a VP, meets with him about the collaboration. This is during the break-up after the merger where JX accepts a position at HanHai XingChen.
From the trailer doesn’t sound like grandpa “approved” of the relationship. He wants to make sure HT choose…
It’s more about whether JX can handle the wolves at the door and the pressure that comes with being the wife of the Chairman of a large conglomerate. There’s a lot of expectations from the Grandfather’s generation. That’s where his concern comes from. He wants to make sure that whoever stands by HT doesn’t run for the hills when the pressure gets tough. Also, he doesn’t want someone that HT cares too much for that he’ll overlook his responsibilities as future Chairman. It’s why people in those positions marry daughters of other conglomerates because they are kind of trained for it. Usually very businesslike relationships where both parties benefit and in some cases, merge into an even bigger conglomerate.
JX has the guts to stand by HT. Their only issue is going to be when the Han Hai/Xing Chen stuff comes out and not anything to do with the Grandpa’s worries.
Is it true that Ji Xiang was first betrayed Han Ting? What does it mean and why? Is it a business issue or will…
In a way they kind of betray each other. It’s a business issue. HT already planned to have XingChen merge into Han Hai (XingChen’s competitor) cause he owns Han Hai but he never let JX into this plan. So it will be a shock for her and she’ll test him and when he doesn’t come clean, she’ll go with another investor during 2nd round of investing. The investor happens to be Tongke, Dongyang’s competitor, to kind of even the playing field in her mind. HT is thinking it will preserve XingChen but he doesn’t communicate that so she’ll misunderstand.
Either way, I love both characters and can’t wait for them to get through the break up.
