She literally keeps tabs on him and now JX too…really stalkerish behavior.

If they keep this part in the novel, half of that time, she’s in the US for training.

Her character isn’t as prominent in the novel and she doesn’t have a love line with the two that she’s linked with in the drama.

Fri should be ep 30 based on calendar or is that because it’s 1 ep ahead due to SVIP thing.

Kissing isn’t the same as a sex scene so it’s probably okay. There’s lots of kissing scenes here too. I was half expecting them to cut the ONS all together because of it but glad they didn’t. All the steamy stuff from the novel will be reduced to kissing scenes.

I don’t like the change they made with the grandpa but we’ll see how he is later with his interactions with JX. In the novel, he brought subtle humor instead of tension with regards to HT/JX. I still remember, “twinkle twinkle little star” 😂.

If you watch his interactions with HT, you’ll know part of it. The other part, they’ll probably reveal later since it’s added for the drama.

If it was just a web drama, they probably would have kept it but it’s on satellite tv so it’s said that censorship is more strict but they’re 🔥 in chemistry dept.

Her friend WQZ didn’t go out with her ex in the novel. She found out SYC moved on and that LiLi kind of matched a college acquaintance/junior up with SYC. LiLi was more pragmatic and not the perfect bff in the novel. She lived next door so that’s why she didn’t want to go home. She also gave into their flirting. They flirted more in the novel so in the drama, they added the necklace.

It’s added for the drama cause HT couldn’t cook in the novel and had a housekeeper/cook who did all his cooking cleaning. JX cooked for him every now and then but she hated dishes so the housekeeper cleaned.

I think it’s the nurturing effect of cooking for the FL so they like to have it in dramas. It makes the ML independent and wholesome.

I didn’t see it that way. They’ve been flirting so it was more like she let herself feel the moment.

That doesn’t happen. She never uses that night like that.

At least the ONS was at his real apartment and not the hidden office bedroom in the novel so she’s actually able to sneak out 🤣

I see where you got the time frame. It’s been about 9 months but it’s not like they just met after some time and got together, she started pursuing him right after the breakup.

Aside from the drunk time, where they all found out about the break up, this was the first time she met up with the group. She only met up with LiLi once. She had only done group calls and hid everything about her and SYC. Like I said, it really isn’t about them getting together as much as about being up front about it with someone who’s supposed to be one of your bffs that you’ve been interested in her ex and are now dating him. Her character’s a nice person and probably doesn’t mean anything malicious by it but it makes her seem shady..

I am an Asian viewer. Like most drama viewers, I’d prefer the focus to be on the main leads and less on the side characters. For me the only dramas where it’s okay to feature more than 2 couples are the ones that are about a group of people growing together (i.e. Love Yourself) versus dramas that are based on the main leads.

You hit on the spot when you said she should have said something. For me, it’s not about them getting together, it’s a matter of just being straight forward with JX, since she’s the ex and bff. JX doesn’t need to give them her permission but at least be up front about it.

For me, I’d feel awkward chasing after someone who was just making out with one of my bffs. It would be different if time passed and later you met again and hit it off.

That’s the only problem I have with SYC and WQZ getting together. If you’re brave enough to do that, then be up front with JX, the person they both “care” about.

I don’t think most people would care about SYC and WQZ if they had been a little more up front about it. In the novel, when SYC did get serious about someone else, he actually talked to JX, not to get permission but to tell her himself so that she didn’t hear it from someone else (even though she had already found out). I don’t think it’s been almost a year since the birthday was the first time WQZ met up with the besties since the break up.

That’s why I wish they stuck to the novel where SYC basically has a couple of cameos after the break up and is no longer really a part of the story. They changed and made him a main character so guess they had to build some drama to keep him around.
