That’s what I mean about the part that was missing in the drama that I wish the writer included, JX’s feelings of her relationship/breakup isn’t front and center while they showed SYC as a sad puppy even though he was the one to choose the break up. There was a time skip and as a career oriented person who went through something similar, my work was what kept me sane and focus on healing. I kinda feel bad but don’t feel bad for SYC. It’s all about the choices we make and how we deal with it. He will definitely have the right person for him and they’ll both have their personal growth.
I have to give it to Gao Han though cause every show I’ve seen him in, he’s plays the sad puppy that lost the girl pretty well.

They just show SYC’s emotions more in the drama here as in the novel, she didn’t let go until she found out he moved on with someone else and realized there was no going back. In the novel, she thought if she got everything on the right track with the business, they’d get back together. I feel it’s the one draw back of the drama but we’ll see what happens if SYC moves on first since they moved a lot of events around. SYC moving on was supposed to happen before her birthday which was what forced her to let go.
I don't believe Han yuan is that easy to manipulate. Atleast they are family
She was so adamant and blinded about beating HT that she let Chang He use her. HT pulled her back at the end because she was family. She finally realized she shouldn’t let outsiders manipulate interfere with family squabbles.
It did until she got into the mess with Chang He and his company. Then when HT took down Chang He’s company Tongke, Guangsha naturally went down with it cause Tongke acquired Guangsha. She didn’t listen and stop with the attacks so in the novel, I think the kidnapping was the nail that sealed the coffin. He brought the hammer down on both companies at another AI summit.

The person she had an affair with in the novel was that Wu guy in the beginning whose wife tried to beat on LiLi. So they already put that part out there in the drama and changed that aspect of LiLi.
I think they took all the cheating aspect from the novel out of the drama cause in the novel Tu Xiaomeng cheated on her boyfriend with a wealthy “fan” who spent $$ on her so basically all of JX’s friends had done things what the censors would probably deem inappropriate.

He’s the president of Tongke, Donyang’s competitor in medical AI and medical products. They team up to go against Donyang in the novel. When JX finds out about HT’s connection to HanHai and his plans for XingChen, she accepts Chang He’s investment offer. HT uses his shares of Guangsha in exchange for Chang He’s shares of XingChen and then you get the two large mergers. HanHai merges with XingChen and Tongke merges with Guangsha.
Dongyang has HanHai-XingChen so they have AI, Dr. Cloud, and 3D printing while Tongke has the AI (Xiao Bai) from Gongsha.

TSY has a baby face and I also think it’s how they styled ZD. It makes her look even more older o her and Xu Kai look awkward as a potential couple since Xu Kai also has a baby face.
