I'm not excusing zd, but i kind of understand why zd is so territorial with hanting. I thought zd and hanting…
He wouldn’t marry ZD even before JX because of the type of person ZD was. He said it many times that he never considered her. There was only one other person that he would have entertained the thought of for an arranged marriage was the girl he was set up on a blind date with (FL from Fireworks of My Heart). He really only cut ZD some slack because of their childhood friendship and his family.
ZD’s character is one of those entitled people who think that just because they’re well matched that they deserve the person just because they “love” them not really knowing what true love is but more of possession and status.
Have you ever seen a drama this popular, with an MDL comment section this positive, have less than 8.7 ratings…
Both leads have their detractors because they both thrive through their hard work and talent no matter what people throw their way which is sad. I just ignore these haters. There’s some actors and actresses I don’t follow but I don’t purposely down grade a drama because of it. I just don’t watch it if it doesn’t interest me even if it’s a actor/actress I like.
That’s the only problem I have with all these side couples and extra stuff they added (LLX’s mom, etc.). In the novel, they were accessories and the focus was on the main couple and JX’s growth after the break up. Even with the business, the focus was still on our mains. Hoping they get more screen time in the rest of the episodes.
So it’s that Chang guy that set up JX and her company? HT should have taken him down just for that alone.
Think Chang and ZD along with Zhu…HY maybe too. For ZD, it’s to get at JX and a possible way to separate them. For the others, it’s to attack HT’s weak point and try to distract him. They’re starting full force so the story is moving along.
did I miss something? why is she acting like that after ep 22? I dont get it
If you’re talking about JX, it’s because she’s trying to figure how she feels after their intimacy. Is she moving too fast, what kind of relationship is this going to be, am I ready for this? Normal thoughts after what happened.
Agree. I think Kira Shi does a good job of making me cringe at her antagonist characters. It’s her voice or something where I can tell she’s up to no good.
I like their usual interactions too, but that bet was so weird and out of character from what they've shown so…
Not really…they played that card game where he drank the nasty concoction. Since it’s a dice game, the bets are usually bigger. They were already having some feels that night.
However, I wonder how they will do the different ideologies and definitions of love aspect? In episode 26 teaser,…
I think it’ll be very similar because HT is able to compartmentalize his feelings and business but she isn’t. He can love her but he didn’t let that get in the way of HanHai and his competition with his cousin.
I think I’m one of the very few here that do not see her as this bad person. I mean, what did she do wrong exactly?…
That was my only problem with the situation. She needed to come clean about it to JX earlier since they’re supposed to be bffs (not for permission but just out of courtesy since they’re bound to run into each other). Better to rip the band aid off than to let it linger…but that’s just my opinion.
