Rather than amplifying Ji Xing’s character (because they didn’t really change too much about her character),…
I think the check mark means that your account is verified.
The script writer is the same one for Only For Love which was a mess. However, this is way better than Only For Love so far.
As for having multiple love lines, from the comments of different shows on MDL, YouTube, and Viki, there a mixed view on it. You get those that demean the FLs, calling second hand, etc. So they really want this narrative of a perfect first love couple. 🤷🏻♀️
I completely understand Ji Xing's anger. But really don't understand how Ji Xing asked, "Do you love me?" and Han…
It’s a matter of opening oneself and letting the other person in to truly know both the good and the bad. That was their issue that led to her insecurities on top of the XingChen thing. In her mind, ZD, who he doesn’t love, knows better than her so she’s blindsided in both business and personal.
What's with the Han Hai Boss? I didn't understand what he meant about Xingchen? HT responds "Han Hai Xing Chen"?
The current boss of Han Hai won’t be the CEO. He’ll be another VP focusing on R&D or procurement/marketing. JX is actually better than him as an executive and will be the one to overcome the obstacles later. In the novel, I think the reason why the Han Hai CEO was for the merger was because he didn’t really like being CEO. HT brings in one of his directors at Donyang Medical as CEO. That person was the one that will convince JX to take the VP position because he felt JX would be good for it versus working for someone else.
Rather than amplifying Ji Xing’s character (because they didn’t really change too much about her character),…
I’m not disagreeing with you regarding HT. I’m just giving my thoughts on the possibility of why they changed HT. It’s something I’ve seen recur in modern drama adaptations. For some reason, I find that how people view those characters in Costume dramas versus modern dramas differ.
I myself like HT both ways, but I like imperfect gray characters for MLs as much as the perfect one.
I haven’t watched Lost You Forever…for some reason the only drama of Yang Zi I’ve been able to finish is Go Go Squid and Battle of Changsha.
I had read the book when it first came out and let me just say Im higly dissapointed in the drama version. Disclaimer…
Rather than amplifying Ji Xing’s character (because they didn’t really change too much about her character), they made HT into the perfect drama ML, perfect in romance and perfect in business, otherwise there would be part of the audience that would be put off by novel HT’s pragmatism/ruthlessness and call him a red flag.
I’ve read the novel several times and like both the novel and the drama because I never expect adaptations to be exact as long as they don’t lose the essence of the novel. For example, even though I loved The Red Sleeve (KDrama) adaptation, they did the same thing where they romanticized the ML and they could do no wrong while the FL was being criticized for not giving into the ML completely missing the point of the novel and original intent of the drama which was the power play of the ML over FL and FL losing her agency. Had they kept novel ML, he would have been cursed as a red flag.
Woof I really hope it’s short-lived. You can’t drag them apart for so long.
From the looks of it and the pace of the drama, I think it will only be 3-4 episodes. Even though it was 6 months in the novel, they did a time skip for most of i (i.e 3 month overseas training where only the end of the training where HT showed up that was written out. I think it’ll only be that long because you get to see both of them think through their relationship in the drama.
The actress is a brand ambassador. In the novel she attempts to attract HT during their break up. HT was going to use her to make JX jealous cause JX was at dinner with Qin guy but changed his mind.
Someone said he wrote …Report…basically told TS to turn everything they have over to authorities and destroy Zhu’s company.
Qiu Zi dropped her so called friends like a hot potato as soon as Ji Xing and Yichen broke up. Apart from that…
lol…I guess I wasn’t the only one that notice their expressions when they were talking about that and all of a sudden, “let’s get married”…felt like it was spurred by guilt. Not saying he doesn’t have feelings for QAZ.
Regarding the shares breakdown. Han Ting invested the most for 33.4% of the shares.Jing Xi after Han Ting invested…
The only official shareholders are JX, HT, and SZZ. HT has 33.4% and as the founders, JX and SZZ hold the remaining 66.6%.
The 400,000 from JX was her own saving (they saved separately). She gave the card back to SYC that had his part of their house money so he’s not involved (change from novel). Lili’s money was a loan to JX as a friend so no official shares yet even though they said they will now consider it as investment. She’ll get 1% later during the merger as one of the things JX asks for. Shares were diluted by merger so 1% was the most JX could transfer to LiLi for her 100,000 loan.
What did he do wrong in your opinion? Report the flaw of Zhou's company to authority? or Owning Han Hai before…
Han Hai’s CEO started off the same way as JX and he’s not so great at business either. It wasn’t that HT trusted him more that he confided in him. Han Hai is affected so he informs him to assuage his uneasiness. JX is the CEO and also a large share holder (just 0.1% less than HT) who started XingChen and Xing Chen is not Dongyang’s enemy. HT is an investor who has veto power but not absolute power. Also, it’s the reason why she held off for so long before accepting the investment for 33.4% shares. Even the largest shareholder must get permission of the board for such things. Effective communication between partners is a must if you want to develop trust and also if you don’t plan on stabbing them in the back. Not everyone goes into business with the thought of making moves behind each other and greed.
For HT, it’s not purely a business move. XingChen was a pawn in the game with his cousin. If it was just a business move, he would have brought the two CEO’s together and negotiated the merger to consolidate his investment. That’s professional courtesy in business so it’s not adding their personal relationship.
I’d still say the same if he had done that to ZD. He could have divested his shares in Guangsha but he opted to give it back to her instead.
