What if he doesn't find it until way later in her things....
Yeah…because in all the versions I’ve read and watched, San was always wavering about how far to go with Doek-Ro’s punishment when he does something wrong. In the past, he’s never been punished for going against his orders. This transgression is on an entirely different level so hope they do use it then like you said. Maybe it’ll come up when he’s talking about what to do with Doek-Im since he tends to speak to her openly, telling her why he’s conflicted.
Hmm I wonder if this is related to the missing girl thing that Deokro was put in charge of solving? I realised…
I’m not sure because the poster didn’t put that in but I’m assuming money…possibly selling them. But they might change it up a bit because they didn’t have the Fairy Palace in the novel.
OMG…Doek-Ro is nuts! I thought the character sucked in the old Yi-San drama with his torturing of merchants but this version is darker with torturing helpless females. In the novel, he was the one responsible for the missing girls during ep9 too.
So glad I’m off next week. Added it to my calendar alert. Just had to do the time calculation 🤣😂
Awesome! Yeah…sometimes those shows have a YouTube live. I’ve been able to watch things live via YouTube, Facebook, or a fan’s IG live. 🤣😂. But I’ll take Viki too since it’ll be subbed then.
He has to go to her palace for propriety but he won’t sleep with her.
Yeah…after using his sister that way, even if he cared about her, he cares more about his loss of a permanent royal connection. Someone brought up the head court lady grooming Doek-Im for concubine role. He’s worst because it’s his own kid sister that he pretty much groomed her to want palace life at such a young age. I remember in the earlier episode, she liked the palace because it looked so pretty not really knowing that it’s a battlefield. 🤦🏻♀️ At least Court Lady Jo’s grooming was educating her to be able to hold her own.

I just looked up MBC America but their schedule for next week isn’t on there. Hoping it’s on there. Looking at their list, only certain shows are live while dramas are reruns on a separate MBC chanel.

🤣😂 I guess I’ll be waking up early for to watch those if I can figure out the streaming site. I’ve only done that for one other pair of actors. But I will for Junho and Seyoung…SanDoek and the Red Sleeve crew.
Announcement for Tuesday's radio hosting gig with Junho and Seyoung: https://twitter.com/radiombc/status/1474530329901760515?t=EK-OG1SM7mRHrAzfOJQLVw&s=19…

This is why I love this drama. I also love that it shows Doek-Im’s feelings even better than the novel translations…
Junho and Seyoung are so immersed in their characters onscreen that it makes me hope that San and Doek-Im got a second chance in a different lifetime for longer happiness. Got tissues ready for what’s to come.

Agree. What matters is that it’s her choice and she eventually realizes that the only way to help him through his obstacles at Court is to be his solace as his concubine.
Man…Doek-Ro goes nuts and Jeongjo is left holding the bag because of favoring him. 🤦🏻♀️😡Time…
I’m with you on that. It looks like they’ve condensed the first 2 concubines into one episode. Along with the missing court ladies because of Doek-Ro leading to his eventual downfall. At least I hope they do. I just don’t like the novel part where she’s kicked out but comes back to work in Hwabin’s palace. Hope they skip that part.
In case anyone's looking for ep14 preview, with subs: https://jlml718.home.blog/2021/12/25/eng-sub-2pm-junho-the-red-sleeve-episode-14-preview/
Man…Doek-Ro goes nuts and Jeongjo is left holding the bag because of favoring him. 🤦🏻♀️😡Time to let him go. And the end part of the preview, they’re outside the palace?? Cause they’re both wearing common hanbok and not court attire.
Also, whyyyy doesn't someone tell him Deok Ro is dodgy af!!?? how on earth does he trust him? one look in the…
He knows he can’t fully trust Doek-Ro but Doek-Ro handles a lot of the dirty work. He knows Doek-Ro went behind his back through his mother and the Queen Dowager to set his sister up as the concubine and that was another strike against him.
Will there even be time for a scene like this…I know the next concubine Hwabin is the one who fakes her pregnancy.
She was the one concubine that was ambitious and had issues with the Queen. They didn’t really say in historical readings but in the novel, she was taking all kinds of medicine to try to get pregnant and ended up exhibiting all the pregnancy symptoms including enlarged abdomen but didn’t deliver a baby after 11 months. All the symptoms went away when she stopped the medicine. The same thing happened with the Queen in the past. Hwabin was jealous of Doek-Im ‘s pregnancy as she only had that one fake pregnancy before Doek-Im became a concubine. There’s some historians that question Doek-Im and Prince Munyo’s deaths. Hwabin’ s uncle who was in charge of the physicians was investigated and exiled for it in one of the videos I saw (something about him delaying their medical care was suspicious). And they said Hwabin got away because the evidence couldn’t link her but she was kind of abandoned in her palace until her death.
He has to go to her palace for propriety but he won’t sleep with her.
Yes…I feel bad for her because she’s so innocent and her arrogant brother forgets that being ruthless and wielding great power in Court comes with lots of enemies. Watching that foreshadowing scene with the former Left State Counselor, his arrogance knows no bounds because his elder is the example of what happens in his position.
He has to go to her palace for propriety but he won’t sleep with her.
Yeap…very understandable. It’s why in most dramas they’ll cast someone that’s in their 20s to play a 13/14 yr old because of the visuals for modern day viewers. I’m just glad it’s a short blurb and she’s going to her fate shortly.
I just don’t like the novel part where she’s kicked out but comes back to work in Hwabin’s palace. Hope they skip that part.
