He does look older, but definitely not like he could be FLâs father (in all seriousness, please) and Iâm not…
I am not lying. I wasnât trying to at least. Iâm not denying that he looks older. He doesnât look like a high schooler and I agree, he might be a bit too old and not fit for this role. I never denied that, in my previous comment (and mind you, on of my other comments on this page is just about his looks/jaw shape and has literally nothing to do with this matter). I said that in this case he looks good enough for me to not find the fact that he looks kinda old that big of a deal (although it does look a bit unnatural in a couple of scenes, like someone who just finished university put on a high school uniform, which doesnât integrate very well with other cast members). I might be as you said âtrying to defend himâ because I kinda like this actor so even though the role might not have been a good choice for him he didnât completely ruin it (that is my opinion).
Youâre, of course welcome to feel differently (and I wasnât trying to argue that, maybe I wasnât clear enough in my first reply), since as youâve said those are opinions⌠but itâs just that in no way does he look âlike he could be FLâs fatherâ. The actress who plays the FL is 22, she looks like she could be anywhere between like 19 and like 24 or something, and this actor looks his actual age (around 30, heâs 31) at most. How could he look âlike he could be her fatherâ then? Like, be serious.
(He could be fit to play a young teacher though, rather than a student. On that I agree.)
Do any of the four âabandoned kidsâ that we meet in the first episode die later on? If yes, who? Please, Iâd like to know so I wouldnât get too attached and then sad. Thank you!
It might be a slight mistranslation. Or, if you look up that skin condition on the internet, it looks like it happens mostly to the first outer layer of skin, it doesnât look very appealing but the âscarsâ and dry patches probably mend well once you manage to heal your skin. Thatâs what she might have meant, but Iâm not sure, I donât know.
He did look like a teacher and the FL's father rather than a student and he shouldn't have been cast. I really…
He does look older, but definitely not like he could be FLâs father (in all seriousness, please) and Iâm not saying that just because I generally like this actor, Iâm being impartial.
He has a really square strong defined jaw line. Look at those mandibles!! God help you if he were to ever bite…
wdym square jawline? He has oval face and soft cheeks⌠his face does look more mature than a high school studentâs, thatâs a fact but he has soft facial features.
Idk, I didnât really notice the age difference, of course, he does look older than most of the other cast members but itâs not that drastic. (On the other hand all Koreans - in entertainment industry, actors etc - usually look younger than their age to me)
All the other main cast members that played classmates are in their twenties and most of them didnât look that much like 18 or younger high schoolers, they look like theyâre in their early twenties, I guess thatâs okay, for a movie.
He still looks slightly older than all of them though, it wasnât a big problem for me while watching (especially that itâs not a very deep movie, just something nice and cute with a bit of a story) and I donât think he should catch so much heat for that, just not play high schoolers in the future.
I absolutely loved this drama! â¤ď¸It had some lower moments and there was very obvious product placement in…
I didnât expect it, but I liked Ryu Hye Youngâs hairstyle in this drama a lot. She looked really nice and elegant (like⌠business casual? Befitting a lawyer hehe) in that short haircut.
honestly hospital playlist is wayy better no hate to this drama.hospital playlist is a classic (zero boring moments)
Yes, the portrayal of a law firm and lawyer's work seems to be realistic here (certainly more realistic than in some other law-centered dramas, that I've seen - also the writer studied law apparently?), besides they even make fun of usual dramatic-style portrayal of criminal cases in dramas in episode 1 of this series ;0
This drama goes two ways: you like it or you don't. Depending on how you feel about Slice of Life stories- there's…
great review! I agree that it mostly depends on what kind of genres you enjoy to watch. The drama isnât objectively bad, but for someone who doesnât enjoy slice of life and wants a more intense or thrilling law-related story itâs not going to be good or enjoyable. On the other hand if someone is a fan of the genre, or wanted precisely what this drama delivers, itâs going to be very good!

My favorite episode was probably episode 7. There probably isnât any specific reason to this (well, it was nice when they showed new year celebrations), I just remembered it particularly well, I must have found it particularly fun.
I absolutely loved this drama! â¤ď¸ It had some lower moments and there was very obvious product placement in a few episodes, that got rather annoying at some point but thankfully it didnât last till the end.
I really like the cast, and I liked all of the characters and their stories. I have to single out Kang You Seok, and say that I feel like he did an especially good job here. I am glad to see him land more main roles (I first saw him in the BL drama Light on Me).
I also really enjoyed the story, granted even more so probably because I was in a mood for this kind of drama. I liked the calmness, and I liked how non-biding it was while still being interesting. Itâs that kind of drama that doesnât keep you awake at night and you watch it to relax, 1-2 episodes a day, accompanied by some good food.
Unfortunately (for me), I am aware that this type of dramas usually arenât âfavoured by the massesâ and even as I was watching it I knew that itâs going to have a lot of negative opinions, and that a lot of people are going to be dissatisfied with the very things that I liked about this drama.
Well, everyoneâs got their cup of tea, and apparently this is mine :)
I do like all kinds of dramas though, the thrilling ones and fantasy, mysterious or violent ones too, a lot. But I think I needed something peaceful at this moment. The slice of life bits of this drama, the workplace reality or the meals the characters shared so frequently with each other⌠It was all so charming in itâs own way, and somehow reassuring, about life. I think thatâs why Iâve come to love this drama so much!

I agree,
I havenât even seen it yet, but I still agree lol.
