On I, the Executioner Dec 5, 2024
The plot is actually pretty easy to predict, and it’s more about entertaining scenes (like the fight in the rain) than keeping you guessing. Which honestly, is totally fine, as long as it was the intended impression (which, I think here it was).
I actually enjoyed most of the movie, but it left me feeling empty at the end. Not in an emotional way (generally, because of the high entertainment value, this movie is way less serious than how it seems), but it rather feels like it has no conclusion.
Was the guy that committed the crimes that happened throughout or right before the action of the movie took place, also guilty of committing all the previous murders?
He’s only been called a ā€œsuspectā€ so we have the answer, but at the same time we don’t actually know. We don’t really get to know his motives, or reasons for some of his actions. It’s a pity, as I think that out of all the characters he’s the most interesting one. Watching him unfold as his story develops, is the most engrossing part of this movie, but then it’s left off, just like that.
I’ve got to say, I was feeling really dissatisfied and even kinda angry, as the credits started rolling but thankfully I waited till the end, and saw the post-credit scene.
Yes, there’s a post-credit scene!
Which only low-key, fixed my frustrations. I’m still bit displeased but now it feels kinda funny, and the ending seems more ā€œrounded upā€.
Overall, this movie doesn’t have much rewatch value but if they ever made a sequel with the same characters, I would watch it out of spite, just to know more about the main criminal/antagonist. Although that’s probably not going to happen…

I think he might be a second lead?
Oh no it’s not bad, I was just curious. But yeah, his role in FoF was sad 😢, but he wasn’t really a villain there, more like antagonist or even an antihero.
But I too want his character to be happy!

I have a question, is Zuo Ye a Uyghur descent?I think he looks like Omid who is a Uyghur descent. They are both…
He may not be, since he was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province and most Chinese people of Uyghur descent are from Xinjiang, but I don’t know where his parents are from so I can’t be sure.

I’m sad for Taei, he did so well while preparing his group for the first stage performance. I hope he’ll get other opportunities!!

don't get way they think xin Che is so handsome he looks too feminine and he's too thin and fragile looking maybe…
I also don’t find him handsome, he looks kinda cute but not handsome to me. Too much like IA generated, and he is really thin, to the point I don’t think it’s something to be particularly praised for…
On Starlight Boys Nov 23, 2024
I’m sorry if I’m being mean, but why the hell is Xin Che not eliminated? I know he looks handsome to many people, but that’s really not enough to be an idol…

Yesss I was waiting for it!!!
Only sad thing is that the title changed to worse… but what matters is that if the drama will be good! I hope so!!

The live audience/ep 4 rankings are kinda…
I really think XingXing especially should debut (I’ve come to really like his voice, it’s kinda deep, really nice). And I love SYH, but I love Bae173 boys too!!…
And Junhyuk is like in 30th place 😭 what
Dong Hwa was also really good.
For Xin Che to be higher that XingXing is truly unbelievable, I don’t want to be mean and I know that he improved, but he has mainly just face.
The difference in talent/skill between them is huge.

normally iqiyi will only release the first and second episode on youtube.
They released 1, 2 and 4 on yt but the fourth one doesn’t have english subtitles. On starlight boys yt channel there are only 2 episodes… I don’t understand their release schedule/pan anymore….

how is xie che ranked 13th like no offence to him but like there are better trainees that deserve that spot like…
I agree! I think that a lot of people vote for him because he’s gay/queer, and like that’s fine, but that’s not related to being idol at all and it feels like ā€œpity votingā€.
Also many complain that fans vote for visuals over talent when it comes to Syo but then they go and vote for Xin Che because of his sexuality and face… make it make sense.

why is there no article about his passing on this site, like there usually is when we lose an actor/actress? It’s been some time since the news broke out and he’s been in the industry for about 15 years. I’d think that someone would write about it.
