I feel so sorry for Hangyul, heās always trying so hard and it must be really difficult to do this again and again (He debuted as a part of a group which wasnāt promoted correctly, went on The Unit but was eliminated in the finals, on produce X 101 he made into X1 but we know what happened with X1ā¦ then he debuted with BAE173 but they arenāt being managed properly, they went on Peak Time and although they did well, the hype after that show was kinda short lived. And now heās hereā¦ other members of his group are also on different currently airing survivalsā¦). After what he said during that extreme signal song challenge and also knowing part of his reasons, why he tries so hard and doesnāt give up, it felt really sad.

Also, isnāt this content a collaboration with China (it is written here)? So why are all the judges Korean? Shouldnāt there be at least one Chinese or Taiwanese etc idol/producer as a mentor? Especially when there are so many Chinese/Taiwanese contestants.

Last time I checked he was an actor and this is a kpop survival showā¦ I know he also sings, but I also know that his singing career is way less thriving than his acting career, and that he isnāt a genius singer either. I havenāt seen the show yet, so I donāt knowā¦ but allow me to ask, are Eric and Yoon really āadvancedā enough to be mentors on a survival show? I mean, it always has been senior kpop idols with experience in more than one field (like Solji in Boys Planet for example) or who trained their āspecialtyā long or professionally before becoming an idol (like The8 from seventeen, he was a dance mentor in a Chinese survival show). I like them both and I mean no hate, just that they donāt feel like authorities, mentors enoughā¦ as I said I havenāt seen the show yet, so maybe I am wrong. Iām just afraid that they may be ātoo greenā in this field still, I donāt know.

I found it! I think itās called āOh My Generalā itās a 2017 drama with Peter Sheng in main role. I remember it was funny but the production was a bit worse than recent dramas. It has 60 episodes, 45 minutes each.
