Gu Cheon is basically dead and alive at the same time? I mean he is a walking spirit, whose soul is still in the realm of gwi - and that can be concluded given the fact, that he is still bound to the chain. That also means, that his connection to the palace has yet to be severed, since he is still tied to the chain. That chain can bring him back to the realm (or palace) at any given moment, because he became an ak-gwi in order to save the princess. How he somehow survived but is still dead is a mystery to me. There HAS to be a second season for us to understand what's gonna happen. The ending couldn't be more open.

The combinations of genres in this kdrama is pretty interesting. The idea of a haunted presence that is taking place in a royal palace is very intriguing, in my opinion. The cinematography was so impressive, and kept the suspense going. There were many plot twists - and not as predictable as we are used to, which was very nice to see. So for those various reasons, I would give this one a go!

The whole fucking palace needs to get cleansed because wtf is going on😭

Finally completed watching it. Flawless acting. That is the only rightful word to describe how good they were at playing their roles. Both of them. The plot was unfortunately a little messy, and there were some plot holes as well. Some questions were still left unanswered. But their love is truly what made the drama. It is the core essence of the whole show. It's been a while since I have seen actors be able to portray love in such a raw way. They acted love - don't know if that fully makes sense, but they really showcased how it feels to love and be loved. It was so heartfelt, sincere and genuine that it honestly felt like this was a real-life couple. So it is no secret that their acting saved the lacking plotline. 8/10!

I think the most frustrating aspect of their relationship is how little they communicate. I feel like he is much better at telling her how he feels about her, but he's just as bad at talking to her when something is troubling him. As for her, she's just horrible😭 it seems like distancing herself from confrontation is how she protects herself - but that is exactly what creates the walls in their relationship and prevents it from ever progressing. Like guys, please just TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!

Shin Seo-ri might just be the funnies character ever. That girl takes me OUT every time omg😭

While I do dislike the SFL, it's better than the SML constantly trying to ruin ML's life. Love to see him be mad. Go on Mo-Tae or whatever her name is!

His cousin or whatever is so evil. Like they deep need he has to just destroy Se-gye is honestly impressive. It's been a while since I've seen such an evil villain in a kdrama.
