I only came hear to say that the disapproving fans need to Shut. the. H*ll. Up. and mind their own business. Leave people alone, for goodness' sake... SMH.
This is outside my favorite time period, and I'm not that invested in the BL trope, but I've seen a couple of clips from the drama and think it's definitely something I want to see. I also just came across this actor in a 2015 drama with Wallace Huo that I want to see. If I like that, I will definitely also watch this one, which focuses on Yin Zheng as the ML...
There a "postscript" kind of 4 minute teaser posted along with Ep 16 that was just ... confusing ... not sure that waiting for the second season will make the first season less confusing, but one can hope ... lol ... Based on what they showed, though, it appears they did a fair amount of shooting towards the second part. Maybe it's done and just needs the post production.
I am so confused with these last episodes - trying to figure out why ML is so cryptic, and FL is so pissed with…
I can understand why the ML was rather reluctant... some of it was just habit, but a lot of it was his understanding of her character quirks. I have a harder time understanding the FLs position, but I suspect that's because of the dramatic irony. Basically I have way more information about what's going on than she does. She must have felt really played by him. But she also never stopped long enough to let him open up to her either; she stayed pretty closed and secretive herself.
I agree that this really needs to be binged now that the whole thing is out.
Just watched it .... it was ... interesting ... I think I agree with others who said that episode 16 felt like they ran out of budget on what should have been an 18 episode drama ... and they could have done more to bring some rapprochement to the lead couple. It wasn't like their ultimate goals were all that different ...
It was really satisfying finally watching a ML pine and wallow in his wrongness…yes taste that regret brought…
Yes! and I like that they balanced it out nicely so that it didn't end too quickly, but didn't drag on so long that the eventual happy ending felt rushed and unrealistic.
I feel like the summary is misleading...and the story moves so fast you have to read the summary to understand…
I really wanted to edit that summary, but wasn't quite sure how to reword. It's very misleading. However, your summary is much clearer without giving away too much.
The best part about this was that an extensive portion of the drama illustrated the ML heartily regretting his immature behaviour during his teens and early 20s. Luckily he grew a pair towards the end.

I would love to know who to contact about when this will be subbed ...
