It can be difficult to be rich and famous. Rumors and jealousy often surround them. The popularity of shorter dramas is evident; however, many viewers actually prefer longer series. A more balanced approach, understanding the plots and overall structure, would contribute to the decision-making process regarding episode counts—whether it's 12, 24, 36, or 48 episodes (these are just random numbers, but you get the idea). A prime example is "When Destiny Brings the Demon." The drama was cut multiple times, going from 40 episodes to 36, and then to 33, all due to a lack of sponsorship. It's disappointing because this drama had the potential to be great. For me, it ended up being good, but that was primarily due to the talented actors involved.

I personally prefer having 60 episodes instead of 30, especially when the latter are so heavily edited that the dialogues and plot become nonsensical. Even worse, the relationships often feel underdeveloped, making the romantic interests totally unbelievable and ridiculous. However, this is now a thing of the past. No more than 40 episodes are allowed.

This drama is rated 15+. To me, this suggests that we won't see any kissing scenes. The most we will get is a half-dressed king and some hugs and kisses on cheeks.

In my opinion, the lack of physical intimacy between the main leads can prevent the palpable chemistry that we often feel while watching. Without any closeness between the leads, the relationship comes across more like friendship, which poses a problem if the intended outcome is a convincing portrayal of love and romance.

So I do not expect much chemistry but hopefully complicity. We shall see. Maybe I am all wrong! In fact I hope I am wrong.

Every tyrant commits heinous crimes. If we take a step back, we can observe that every king, emperor, and president in modern times has acted like a tyrant and has committed their own atrocities. In today’s world, those in power—whether in Western or Eastern countries—make decisions regarding matters of war. This often results in the eradication of entire nations due to genocides, while countless women and children endure violence and exploitation. History shows that there hasn't been a single century without wars occurring somewhere on the planet.

I truly do not understand how this decision was reached. It would have been simple to modify a few details to avoid any direct connection. Such changes would not have affected the romance or the comedy.

This series is definitely a comedy romance. With each episode lasting about 1 hour and 20 minutes, that totals to 12 episodes means in fact 24 episodes of 40 minutes each. I prefer having one episode released daily rather than waiting for the weekend for two episodes; that’s just my preference.

My second preference would have been for the scriptwriter to avoid making any references to a real king or actual historical events. They could easily create a fictional dynasty, which would showcase their talent.

Lastly, I’ve always had a soft spot for kitchen and food-related dramas, and so far, this one has been enjoyable to watch.
