We can still rate the episodes individually, and each episode doesn’t have to be the same. Our opinions may…
I'm not very familiar with South Korean entertainment and celebrities, but I've noticed some similarities in their comedic acting style. It tends to be a bit childish, with a lot of physical gestures like pulling hair and expressive facial and body language. While this approach might appeal to South Korean viewers, it's not really my preference.

However, if you read my lengthy profile, you'll see that I understand many actresses are hired for their ability to act in this manner. I don't blame them, but rather the directors and producers who often have biased views regarding women. It clearly meets a demand and pays the bills.

In China, it's quite challenging for actresses over 30 to get cast. Is the situation similar in South Korea?

I understand your point. I'm simply clarifying that early ratings are acceptable. Then, she was cast specifically for her acting skills in that context.

Unfortunately, the MDL limits the number of blocks available. When I encounter someone who disregards my requests simply to focus on their own insights in order to gain more likes, I use the block button. I find this repeated disrespect to be frustrating. While people can forget once, it is disheartening when someone specifically asks for a change and that request is ignored. This person is now blocked.

We can still rate the episodes individually, and each episode doesn’t have to be the same. Our opinions may change, either positively or negatively, based on the last impression the series leaves us with. Currently, I rated it an 8.5, but that rating will depend on whether the female lead annoys me or not. She tends to use a lot of mannerisms, such as pulling her hair, making exaggerated facial expressions, and using dramatic gestures. From my perspective, it feels a bit excessive and immature. This is something I didn’t like in “Faith,” and I find this actress to be somewhat of a copycat. It could be the director's choice to have her perform that way, or it might just be her acting style. After all, it is a comedy, not a drama. For now, it’s still enjoyable to watch.

Hi- Im confused... is ML married to consort Kang? And who is the older guy she addresses as Your Highness in flashbacks...…
The main difference between a consort and a concubine is their legal and social status. A consort is a legal spouse, typically the husband or wife of a monarch, and holds a position of recognized importance. In contrast, a concubine is a woman who lives with a man but is not legally married to him, resulting in a lower social status that is more discreet. While a consort implies a formal relationship with royal recognition, a concubine denotes an informal arrangement.

In the Joseon Dynasty, "Your High Highness" could refer to different titles, depending on the specific royal. For the king, the term Jeonha (전하) was used. For other royal family members, such as queens, queens dowager, princes, and princesses, Mama (마마) was used to mean "Your Highness

It existed dozen of titles given at birth or merits.

In this particular case, he is a prince : Prince Je San. Therefore it is correct to call him “Your Highness”

This drama is entertaining, but it has significant historical context that has led many viewers to either boycott…
Consider a historical figure who r*** and k*** thousands of people. In a production, this character is portrayed as a romantic villain, though the name is different. Despite the fictionalization and the fact that these events occurred centuries ago, it raises ethical concerns. Because this drama is inspired by real events makes it questionable. For example, consider drama with romantic villain like "Caligula" and "Fu Sheng." Vlad III was one of the cruelest tyrant in history, and while vampire movies have drawn inspiration from him, some viewers who are Romanian may find the movies very distasteful and cringy. A drama labeled historical romance comedy and fantasy but keep historical elements is still an issue if the audience make the connection between reality and fiction.

I don't want to argue, so I will end this conversation to prevent it from escalating. Let's agree to disagree. As someone who is not South Korean and not familiar with the historical references, I can selfishly choose to overlook certain aspects and find the drama enjoyable to watch. However, I respect those viewers who have a strong negative opinion about it. I am not here to convince anyone but everyone is entitled to have a different opinion.

7.7 rating??? Are the initial eps so bad ??
This drama is entertaining, but it has significant historical context that has led many viewers to either boycott it or give it low ratings. Additionally, some viewers are uncomfortable with the age gap between the male and female leads. So far, 567 users have voted, and I anticipate that the rating will change. Since this is only the second episode, this number of voters is not truly representative of the broader audience on platforms like Weibo and others.

While the drama maintains a lighthearted tone, it's common for people to have differing opinions; some viewers will enjoy it while others will not. However, there appear to be some extreme fans in this forum who are very quick to dismiss any negative comments or even mildly critical feedback. This clash of opinions can lead to heated arguments and bickering among users.

After watching two episodes, I am tentatively rating this drama an 8.5. However, I won’t lie—the historical context does bother me.

Am sorry but why are some people acting like the leads here don't match, like yoona doesn't look old/ she matches…
Age gaps can sometimes be problematic. Even if two people physically match, it’s important to recognize that this can trigger discomfort in some individuals. Personally, I don't mind age differences in relationships. My motto is, “As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, is reciprocated, and involves consenting adults, love who you want.”

I googled “age cap South Korea”…

A traditional preference for men being older has been prevalent, with age gaps of 4-8 years often considered acceptable

Celebrities like figure skater Kim Yuna and singer Ko Woo-rim, with a 5-year age gap, illustrate the trend of younger grooms and older brides becoming more common

High-profile celebrity couples, such as actress Gong Hyo-jin and singer Kevin Oh, with a 10-year age gap, help normalize these relationships, especially among the youth

In the past, older men were often seen as more financially stable, making them desirable partners. This perception is gradually changing with evolving societal norms

A man with a significantly large age gap, particularly 10-12 years, might be jokingly called a "thief" (도둑놈) for "stealing" a young woman, though this is not always a completely negative term

Dropped it already never been a fan of Yoona.
It's your choice to express your opinion, and you can certainly voice your dissatisfaction. However, your comment would have been more impactful if you had acknowledged that you forgot the name of the female lead in addition to not liking her and explained why you dropped it.

I wonder why they didn't change the name and era. This is indeed a very significant period of history. Making him a romantic villain doesn't seem right

Logically they cannot end together but let's see. Maybe the ending will surprise us in a good way.
The creators of "Moon Lovers" didn’t provide much explanation about her transmigration except it was also a full eclipse. Suddenly, she found herself in the past. The ending you mentioned didn’t make sense; it felt sad and unnecessary.

I really can't stand sad endings. Why call a drama a romance when it should be labeled a tragedy? Meh.

Faith is quite similar in theme, including the age gap. The story revolves around a character from the modern era who chooses to return to the past for love. Since it is also a K-drama, who knows what might happen? I really hope for a happy ending and not a repeat of the ending in "Moon Lovers."
