I'm not impressed with the visual effects. The scene with the python, featuring the "boom boom," fell flat for me, and the creature under the bell looked cartoonish. I can't believe they spent so much on visuals that come across as amateurish.
Additionally, the construction budget seemed inadequate, especially considering the sects lived in rocky and hilly areas. The only notable structures were seen in the city during the festival.
The costumes were disappointing; I expected a greater wow factor, especially from the leading ladies. Although living on rocks may be impractical, right? lol
On a positive note, the original soundtrack is excellent. I'm grateful that they didn’t include sound effects in the drama.
The martial arts choreography, however, is impressive. You can really see the professionalism in both the details and execution. Well done!
In episode 23, for the first time, I felt that Yang Yang's acting was a bit over the top at certain moments.
They also cut too many scenes. One moment, Han Li is wearing a blue outfit, then he's in a black outfit in a bamboo setting, and suddenly he's back in his blue outfit. What was the purpose of the bamboo setting again? Was it a trap for the future? Transition, transition… none. I really hope the platform will get some backlash on this so they think again about cutting.
Zhao Ming continues to impress everyone—well deserved! She reminds me of a young Zhao Lusi when she was 17. She has that next-door look combined with great talent.
It's funny that Han Li and Miss Mo keep saying goodbye but keep meeting again and again. Did she take the ageless pill or not? I forgot.
With only seven episodes left, I can definitely expect some cliffhanger on the last episode.
Finished 23 Episode .. But NANGONG WAN Is Main Female Lead ? How ? 🤧 Till Now MO CAI HUAN Has Better &…
There is only one main role, which is Yang Yang; everyone else is in a supporting role. MD and most other platformsL made a mistake by giving her main role status because of her popularity, not because of the role.
This is going to be such a waste of time because I'm pretty sure they will cliffhanger it when Hang Li hits the…
There's nothing new about it. There are thousands of dramas with cliffhangers already available on every platforms. This drama recently became #1 on Youku, indicating its strong popularity. While some people may not enjoy it—and that's completely fine, as not everyone is required to like the same shows—a large majority do appreciate it. Yang Yang also has a significant fan base supporting him. Therefore, I think it's fair to agree to disagree on this matter.
how many seasons of the donghua does this drama covers? any source
Episode 23 corresponds to episode 49 (or episode 18 of the second season).
As of today, we have reached episode 23. There are 7 episodes remaining.
Han Li has indicated that he will use the teleportation array. In the donghua, he utilizes the teleportation in episodes 63ish.
This means we have 14 donghua episodes to cover in just 7 episodes.
... if production decided to conclude the season with the teleportation array, which makes the most sense
So it is season1 (21ep) + season 2 (28ep) + season 3 (estimation around episode14) following dailymotion numbers it is episode 63-64.
I cannot match kisshk and dailymotion episodes. And myanime.live has a gap between 22 and 72. So season3, ep14 is an approximation. But I am pretty sure about dailymotion.
It's quite hilarious to read some reviews. All the reviews rated 10 say they have watched the 30 episodes. I wonder where they are since episode 23 has still not aired. 🤪😂🤥
I am personally more interested in low ratings or have a pros/cons review.
It is said that Yu Zheng (very famous screenwriter and producer) initially advocated for Zhao Qing to be cast…
It seems that if you're an actress over 25, it can be quite challenging to land a leading female role in costume dramas. There are some exceptions, but I remember reading about how difficult it is for actresses over 30 to secure these roles. I've noticed this particularly in dramas like those set in imperial harems.
Personally, I prefer to see seasoned actors and actresses for both the male and female leads, although it does depend on the characters, of course. Generally, I think the age range for leads should be between 25 and 35. For couples on screen, I believe the age gap should be within five years; anything more can come across as strange. I dislike childish FL acting very much… and it is an understatement lol
I am not surprise Ni Ni does movies now. Most seasoned actors and actresses do. Or they do modern dramas.
I firmly believe that we will see both season 2 and season 3. There’s no way they would wrap up this popular drama with an open ending.
That being said, I anticipate that two actresses will not return for those seasons. I have been following some news, and the production team is very careful to keep their audience satisfied. Currently, there are too many rumors circulating about these two actresses.
There should not be much issue since they have minimal interaction with Han Li once he leaves for another realm.

However you will see few hugs.
