An upcoming drama - The Double, would have a similar vibe. Starring Wu Jin Yan, Wang Xing Yue. Calculating ML and FL, Badass FL takes revenge for her past life and collaborates with ML. The novel is good, at least, mixed with political intrigues.

The author is popular, good at rebirth and revenge novel. The story is interesting and intense. If the director and screenwriter did a good job, it would be an exciting drama. Based on the crew, the director and screenwriter are good ones compared to some other costume dramas. Not to mention Wu Jin Yan is perfect for this 'revenging FL' role. ML's character is cool too, similar to the ML in SOKP.

Thank you! I saw the couple's background story on the official website of this drama, so I guess there should be some flashbacks of their past in the drama, which is related in ALP. And they didn't delete the names of YM and TQ in their background story introduction. The screenwriter is the author herself, while The Last Immortal's screenwriter is not her. So the author will probably bring in the background story of ALP.

I see, I didn’t know it’s on Viki now. For the language issue, I guess it’s probably there’s not many people watch it in Czech, So the platforms don't spend budget on employing translators to do the work. According to the data base of YouTube, Spanish caption is the second largest language used in Cdramas other than English, out of Asia . It still needs time before they can afford more translators of different languages and cdrama watcher groups can grow as many as kdramas.

Sorry, it's available on Viki now based on MDL. If you are looking for cdramas, recommend the three main platforms: WeTV, iQiYi, Youku. They are available internationally and in multiple languages . iQiYi and WeTV have the largest amount of cdramas in stock. They often have large discounts on subscriptions for 6 months or a year. But you can subscribe monthly and cancel anytime you want :D

You're welcome! The drama cuts a lot details in the novel due to the 40 eps limitation and changed the rebirth setting to a modern novel to bypass the censorship. The original novel is even more darker 😂 But the drama is still the best novel-adapted one so far for me!

Generally, iQiYi won't sell their most popular dramas to other platforms since they opened their international market. They want us to subscribe iQiYi 😂 . It probably doesn't work even if we submitted request. Coz many international watchers submitted requests to Netflix for buying licence of Love Like the Galaxy, but Tencent doesn't want to sell it. SSS doesn't plan to film S2 currently. Coz they invested too much money on S1, but the market feedback was not as good as expected, like JOL, they didn't recover the costs. But maybe there are investors who want to invest in it after seeing the success of JOL S2.
