after watching this entire drama, i can confidently say wang yuwen is the best actor among the whole cast
wang ziqi is good too but he bobs his head too much when delivering dialogues which makes it look so unnatural (he bobbed his head so much more in Once we get married so i guess that’s an improvement).
Still he makes up for it with delivering the comedic lines well
-childhood friends to lovers -female lead is bad in academics, male lead is a top student -female lead is clueless about love -male lead falls and chases female lead first -another male in their friend group also falls for and chases female lead
She’s definitely going to be the next big star with child actor experience just like kim sohyun and kim yoojung, especially since she also has the same vibe of innocent, pure beauty.
I just hope she doesn’t get casted as a lead on a romance genre or as any character with a love line any time soon. Kim so hyun and Kim yoojung were both exposed in these type of roles even before they turned adults and they almost always got paired with actors way older than them. That has to stop.
Joshua’s already my very first bias since 3 years ago (and now along with dino and minghao) but episode 2 gave me a whole new level of appreciation for him 🥺

Jun’s fanbase sub his vlogs. Also if i remember correctly, Jun and The8’s fanbases were the ones that subbed their show last time and those were more than an hour long per episode so i guess they will in case mango tv doesn’t sub this properly,
I liked kim young dae in penthouse but i realized it was just because he was a sub character. He didnt have many scenes or dialogues and all the scenes he’s in were carried by seokyung or rona. Watching him as the lead in the forbidden marriage i think he still has a long way to go with line delivery and expressions.
Glad producers are willing to cast him though. He’s learning by experience i guess.
I believe if minhyun gets the role that’s being accused by everyone, then this project will make him learn a lot and will improve his acting so much more. It takes so much skills to embody such a role and i hope if he does get it, then everyone around him (producers, directors, acting coaches, costars) will support his growth
