There was a very interesting article on XHS about Jeremy that gives us a lot of background information about what happened before and during his retirement. He truly achieved a lot in his usual quiet and low-key fashion!
Btw did you guys see the cast list???Xu Zhengxi as Xiao Changqing, the 5th prince.Fan Shuaiqi as Bu Shulin.Lai…
I am happy to see that most of the princes have made it into the cast. Very often the scriptwriters omit half of the novel characters in an attempted to simplify (because they think the audience is too stupid to follow) and it diminishes the story.
It has now been confirmed that Jeremy will appear in Blossoms of Power as Xiao Changqing. It is a special guest appearance. Filming starts today (07/04/2025)
But i heard ml is worst too he is a very bad person who is only love fl but ready to kill everyone else except…
He is very, very funny in the novel. His dialogues with his attendants are some of the best parts of the novel. As one of several princes the only choice he has is to kill or be killed. On the other hand the FL swans around like she owns the place and kills people for the slightest offence
The fl in this series is really cold towards the ml feeling for a long time🤧 Im having mixed feelings for her…
You’re not alone having mixed feelings about the novel heroine. It’s not just her lack of emotions (or a sense of humour), I find her rather obnoxious and self-righteous, especially since we are told that she is a 14-year-old child. I hope they’ll tone her character down a notch to make her more likable.
this woman's acting skills is beyond me , I'm watching the glory and OMG , she is soooo cool I swear she is the…
Watching The Glory I am literally glued to the screen whenever she comes on. An absolute delight! She was equally good in Love of Nirvana. The fact that her talents are “wasted” in support roles in these idol dramas says a lot about the state of C-entertainment. The mediocre traffic gets the main roles while real actors are relegated to surviving on support roles.

Being cautious with rumours is always a good policy. Very often the stuff that is posted on social media platforms is just clickbait without any substance. There were many people on XHS claiming that SLY would be broadcast in February 😂 I somehow must have missed it…
Don't forget to request this drama for Viki... to spare us from Mango sub. Please. Save us.
Based on some comments that I read I got the impression that they wanted to promote this drama internationally. Surely they wouldn’t want to subject the intended international audience to the guessing game of Mango subs?
SLY has always been marketed as a big ML project. While it's true that there are characters and dynamics, it's…
I absolutely agree with you. I’d rather see my favourite actor in a good supporting role in a quality drama (with an overall decent cast) than be the lead in a mediocre drama surrounded by people who can’t act. When it comes to fans, they usually aren’t a coherent group. There certainly are varying degrees of craziness in individual fans and for individual actors/actresses. The problem of suppressing supporting actors rather comes from the production team itself if the lead actors have some influence on the way scenes are filmed/cut, makeup and styling or even the plot. Fans, no matter how fanatical, usually don’t have that kind of influence. Considering who is the lead actor here, I don’t think we will have this problem as I trust LYX isn’t the petty insecure type who would need to suppress others. Unlike many people who are known to play such games, he has both looks and skills and doesn’t need to be scared of anyone.
didn’t he retire though? I would love to see this!
He announced his retirement from acting in March last year (mainly due to issues with his agency, for the full story please scroll down on this page). In September last year he confirmed his comeback. Earlier this year he has already filmed a variety show (yet to be aired) and a guest appearance in Southern Anecdote, so he is definitely back!
Interesting. 🥭's Flourished Peony was also scheduled for the summertime slot.
That is really sad indeed. I always feel the strongest and most satisfying dramas are those with a strong overall cast. I only dislike weak actors and it pains me to see my precious Jeremy paired with any of them. I don’t see any reason to dislike any FL paired with LYX or Jeremy, unless they are bad actresses (they both unfortunately had several of those in the past).
Interesting. 🥭's Flourished Peony was also scheduled for the summertime slot.
I have no doubt that LYX will dominate our screens until they crack 😂 The big difference between SLY and the other dramas is that it has a whole team of hot guys supporting him and he has no issue to let them shine because his ego is big enough while in many other dramas all other actors have to be kept small to allow the ML to stand out.

I know! There will be four “big male lead” dramas this year and while pitting them against each other might drive up the buzz, but it will reduce everyone’s enjoyment with endless mud slinging and fan wars. I’d much rather watch the dramas that I like in peace and quiet and not care about the others.

Haha, yes, I heard that, too. It seems some executives are trying to compare their d***s 😂 I’m not into dreamy looks without substance, so the choice is very easy for me.

According to rumours, Yang Yang’s Immortal Cultivation drama has now also been rescheduled from April to the summer holidays. It seems that someone is adamant to have the “big male lead” dramas go head to head.
He truly achieved a lot in his usual quiet and low-key fashion!

I think we’re not even near the peak…
I’m still waiting for a proper trailer to blow my mind 😂

Give this woman a main role for crying out loud!
