That background music is so loud, they might just as well call it foreground music. In ep. 17 it is giving me serious LOTR vibes. I was expecting a group of orcs to break through the undergrowth any minute.
Some good news at last. Weibo message from Jeremy today: 龍🐉年《永安梦》即将播出 (in the Year of the Dragon Yong An Dream is about to be broadcast) Yeeeeeh! Hopefully we’ll see this very soon.
I managed to stand this for exactly two episodes… the FL is overly quirky with a really irritating voice, 5he humour is slapstick-shallow and the acting isn’t much either. The already short episodes are filled with nothing but hot air.
I wouldn't worry about MDL ratings. Those in the know will tell you, those with the highest ratings tend to be…
Sadly this is true. People seem to be no longer capable to distinguish between being a fan and rating the quality of a drama. As soon as their idol is in it everything is fantastic.
Well, personally, I am a fan of the main character in his other drama, I have seen his acting in more than 3 series…
I watched The Trust, but wasn’t too impressed with him there either. He had more opportunities to show some acting skills in that one (and he did), but overall I still found him rather bland, especially when facing off against a feisty FL. I think he is a pretty decent actor but he simply lacks the charisma required to carry a drama as ML.
I like Jeremy too, but I guess he fits the second male lead character better! At least that is what I was told
Absolutely, but good ones! It hurts to see his talent wasted as training partner with yet another starlet who can barely act. I’d like to see him move into more serious roles and maybe taking a few SML or support roles is the way to get there. Just look at the fantastic stuff he is doing on Shui Long Yin…
after completing till ep 8 , i really can't wait for more episodes ....🥵🥵🥵this drama is so perfect that…
I hope it will. Tbh, I could never get into MLC, I tried a few times but always fell asleep 😂 I find the cast in this one much more compelling. The intensity of the ML is hard to match.
Ok, watching some really good Cdramas but this one takes it to another level. Wow. Zhou Yi Wei will rock in this…
Yes, it certainly is paying off to cast a few more experienced actors rather than just pretty faces. I mean everyone likes to look at pretty guys, but there needs a good mix of generations in the cast. Seeing all these 23-year-olds cast as prime minister or emperor is just ridiculous.
is not ML master died , then why he is at every poster of this drama ...should not he be a just a guest role ...
Maybe we’ll get to see him again later in some flashbacks when the ML get’s closer to the mystery around his father’s death. I have a feeling the master had something to do with it…
