Apparently this was mentioned in Tencent’s press conference today as one of the dramas scheduled for 2024… So no more Jeremy dramas for this year 😢😢😢 *sighs and goes back to watching Be My Princess*
Jeremy seems to have a new policy. After the "must take his shirt off in every drama" it's now the "must get married…
Na, there should be a lot more people in the cast, but I don't have the info and I'm not sure if there is any place to find out (Douban has even fewer people listed). The Cui Liang character is someone who works with Pei Yan and I would assume the two other support characters on the main page are the emperor and Pei Yan's mother, so all the people from the ML's tribe are missing and all the princes and officials, too. They usually change or merge some of the characters from the novel to fit the drama plot so it would be difficult to guess who else will be in the final version.
Wow, those pictures of him in the red. Absolutely gorgeous.
Jeremy seems to have a new policy. After the "must take his shirt off in every drama" it's now the "must get married in every drama" 😂😂😂 And yes, he looks good in red, but I prefer the burgundy he wore in RR rather than the bright red. I love the bride's dress. The red + green combination is my favourity type of Chinese wedding dress. I don't know why she is blurred in most of the shots... are they trying to keep the mystery of who will be the lucky bride?
This is a well cast show. Too often shows cast an immature girly actress as FL for an older ML but Jing Tian is…
You're so right! I hope that soon more and more people will realise that these pin-ups pretending to be actresses are a waste of time and money. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for the (often a good deal older) male leads to be paired with the trainee. I'm only discovering Jing Tian on this drama and I'm quite impressed by how well she manages to pull off the young-girl-act, with just the right dose of innocence without appearing stupid or childish.
Here's the synopsis (machine translation from Douban): The drama is adapted from Hong Guoguo's novel "Mad Girl Rebirth: The Dude Seven Princesses". Murong Qiuyu, the only legendary female general in Xili, was infatuated with the second prince Li Mo, but was murdered to death by Li Mo and his half-sister Murong Xiner. Murong Qiuyu died with hatred, but unexpectedly got a chance to be reborn, and returned to the night of her wedding with the seventh prince Li Pan... This time, she will make everyone who hurt her pay the price. The female general, Murong Qiuyu, fell in love with the second prince Li Mo and helped him win the throne, but was killed by Li Mo and his younger sister Murong Xiner jointly. After being reborn, Qiu Yu finds herself back on the wedding night with the seventh prince Li Jian... Qiu Yu decides to team up with Li Mo's opponent Li Jian, so that Murong Xiner and Li Mo will be punished as they should!
Dilraba is way too expensive to be a supporting cast.
Hahaha, I'm quite sure Dilraba isn't the only beautiful actress in China. Maybe her fake from LoA could have replaced her again? She was annoying in LoA, but at least she looked relatively pretty and a lot better than this "beauty".
Princess Rou Jia will kill the empress Dowager 👏🏻👏🏻😱😱😱https://wetv.vip/play/59n5l7eko72yu93/c0046qzrznz?ptag=5_5.10.0.5613_copy
Oh vow! That's quite a twist, but I had an inkling that she would snap to take revenge for her man... I just didn't expect them to have the courage to actually go there with the plot.
Hihihi, fortunately I watched this over dinner so wasn't affected by the on-screen alcohol.
Those drinking games in Chinese drama are a bit hard to comprehend with a Western mind. How is it proof of being a real man to drink your liver to shreds? And on the other hand they keep telling each other to rest early or not to get angry because it hurts their health. In other words, health matters, except for when it doesn't.
I don't really get what's up with this Princess from Northern Liang. She's meant to be the most beautiful woman in Northern Liang (or maybe "the world"), so why is she so "not beautiful" at all??? Is this meant as irony? I know beauty standards in ancient China may have been different, but even so...
i am about to start it because some people say its nice
Well, let me sum up some of the qualities of this drama: - Strong, intelligent FL (no stupid cutesy behaviour or pouting) - FL has an adorable maid, super-strong and pretty - Both FL and ML can actually act (not just look pretty) - Good pacing (no stupid fillers, or drawn out scenes with music) - No annoying side characters or despicable SFLs (at least not so far...) - A healthy dose of grown up humour (not slapstick or people behaving like idiots) - Great colour scheme in clothing and decorations (very few pastel colours)
I guess she's like 20 year old girland kinda I disagree..
What on earth are you talking about? Feng Shao Feng is 44 and Jing Tian is 35 years old. The 9 years real-life age difference is barely worth calling it a "gap".
