I’m only on ep. 19 so far, but reading all these little reveals gives me the impression that this drama is heading straight for a wall. There is no way the FL could ever have a Happy End with the ML unless the scriptwriters give her amnesia or a lobotomy.

The problem with this kind of people isn’t that they are rational, but that they have lost their humanity. The Swiss psychologist Arno Gruen has written a number of books on how this rationality (and it’s adoption as the guiding principle by society) has led to the atrocities of the 2nd world war.
