There're growths especially the ml, it just take time to show as with many dramas that have long eps, as you only…
I maintain my comment it’s a very childish and boring drama with a bad plot and mediocre acting. Even ridiculous at some extend they couldn’t even learn a few sentences in Korean and the dubbing was atrocious. There aren’t any real growth the content was way too surface level to include real psychological growth!!!
On My Little Bride Jan 30, 2026
In the movie they said she is 17 and other times 15. 2003 are they speaking in Korean age are international age? That would make the story from creepy to creepier.
I strongly question the agenda of the author and the director who opted for comedy when it’s clearly a tragedy.
I personally don’t buy at all the last 15 minutes when suddenly her family decided to remember her how much she used to like the older man and the chemistry they once shared. Romanticizing forced marriage of an underage girl isn’t sweet, or funny or ok. I don’t buy it to me it’s a big NO
It’s retrograde, misogynistic, patriarchal, archaic…everything that I hate and wish for Korea to put far behind.
On Long Distance Jan 30, 2026
It did remember me 1995: Denise calls up (a group of friends only exchanging through phone for year).
It was an innovative concept with a deep reflection about how constant communication changes relationships, social insecurities, confusion between connecting and communicating, loneliness…it said so much about what was coming before social media.
Here for me the intention was interesting but the script and execution felt short. Denise calls up was a real movie that requested real cinematographic skills: strong acting abilities, solid photography, set design, smart editing, a script full of intense dialogues…here the final product looks like a school project. It isn’t appealing on the eye as it’s exhausting, acting is very average as it lacks authenticity or looks forced. Photography, Light, set…look intentionally amateurish but who wash a movie to see what we can see all day by navigating social media.
For me it’s a failed!

Title To the Moon
I was at the train station ready to onboard but I watch the train leave without me. I was disappointed by this show as I was expecting something like Be Melodramatic and the comparison felt short. I love drama about women friendship and women are too often antagonists in Kdrama. The industry can display solidarity but always connected to family-neighborhood-work and not gender.
In real world those 3 women (mid-20, early 30 and late 40/early 50) are never friends or even work buddies in Korea and like so many work situations the show felt unrealistic and not funny enough to overshadow it.

Very average drama even boring sometimes. The romance had nothing special. The murder/thriller was ridiculous ignoring all forensics basics and no development of the murder. Very weak writing. Last 2 episodes were below average. definitely not the best parts ever delivered by any of these actors.

Hi. Very nice but I am not into gaming Cdrama I’ve seen with gaming I ended up fast forward ing most of them and not enjoying them. Cdrama I did enjoyed were the best thing, our generation, Perfect match or even A love so beautiful.

It's sad when it comes to Africa, they mention the continent, yet when it's about Europe, they explicitly mention…
Maybe a little bit of bias again African countries that I doubt many Asians visit contrary to European countries that they are more educated about or dream to visit/have visited

On E1 and a detail that irks me - when dramas generically mention they were in Africa.. like Africa is a freaking…
Unfortunately like Americans Asians have a tendency to say Africa as if it was one unique country. But it also to avoid any complaint if their depiction or narrative doesn’t suit the country.
There so many “scandal” each time one drama mentioned another Asian country to avoid any problem they prefer not to mention the country name or use fictional names.

Until this very day I still wonder if the title is meant to mean shooting stars or shitting stars.
Shooting. In Korean 별똥 별 is a meteor, a shooting star. The star on the title are actual stars not for cursing 😂😂😂
똥 has multiple translations pending on the association and context
On Record of Youth Jan 21, 2026
That drama was a deception for me. It did not had a clear direction. The romance was underwhelming. The friendships were cute but are sub-sub plot. The critic of the industry again a sub-sub plot…I did like the grandpa and his agent and I would had rather the drama focused on one dominant topic instead of covering too many thing …but badly or incompletely. Nothing was executed perfectly. There were some cute and compelling moments, there are a few funny elements but overall that is slightly a below average drama

I have this one on my watchlist for months. I tried 2 times when the drama was released and felt asleep mid first episode…I need a kick to try again during day time 😄
On Love Affairs in the Afternoon Jan 21, 2026
I had no expectations for this drama, never knew about it, nobody recommended it …just found it tipping some random words and decided to watch it for Ye Ji Won. No regrets whatsoever! Love it. Everybody played so well. For once it deals with mature relationships that are unfortunately too rare in Asian content. Ye Ji Won is amazing as always, she has so much range. Jun Sang Hoon plays the usual loser (like in Woman’s dignity or Don’t dare to dream) but so well.

I couldn’t understand the life choice of any of the characters. None of them was making sense and they all choice misery over anything. But the drama is ok, has some lovely moments and an amazing OST. Top tier music, each time I watch this one I continue listening the OST for weeks
