They removed from the Korean version (which was already not the best drama on earth) every character’s background story and left a tasteless and boring romance. It is appealing on the eye for sure, the ost is not bad but god it has no backbone, no substances and way too long, it’s pretty stupid and vapid! The acting is very average. By removing every body’s back story they removed the most compelling part of the drama.
My admiration for Shin Hae Sun drove me there but lord I was disappointed. This didn’t had the thrill, coolness and excitement of of Inventing Anna. Didn’t like the storytelling, everything was so bland, no character had a real compelling story they were all lacking depth, psychology and direction. Lee Jun Hyunk was cute but plain he didn’t bring anything to the table. The dead woman came out way too late so nobody care she died at this point. Anna had fun, had a passion and a childhood full of mystery. She was fascinating. The sets were glamorous but nobody took any real advantage or pleasure of the scams. People scammed were not nice or had anything that make you feel bad for them. The so called mysterious ending was a failed because sincerely nobody real cares to get the answer to the question. Movie ends up and you feel like everyone get surely what they deserved and nothing had changed and no lessons learned…basically the definition of a waste of time.
The OST is 🔥 Rainy Saturday and after finishing the last 2 episodes of Spring fever my Prime went straight to my comfort drama. Drama was released in 2023 and I have seen it 6 times already. Sometimes Prime algorithm does work and does wonders!! Love Yoo Inna’s acting is fantastic. The story manages to go from the left west and hardest part of love to its highest with brilliance. Yoo Inna ssi one of those actors whom I have seen nearly everything they have done. The woman is hilarious, her timing, her voice, her mannerism. We need more dramas with her. I wish my Korean was better to be able to listen her radio show.
Very cute baby indeed. He melt my heart each time I see his chubby face. But a baby that young should not be working that much! In most countries a set of twins or even triplets would have been requested to comply legal limitations of child labor. I feel so bad. So much pictures and videos of him everywhere … that’s way too much. Korea might be looking for incentives to promote childbirth but they should first ask themselves why people don’t make babies and protect those that are already born!!!
After watching one episode I asked myself why I don’t know most of the young actors after 1 hours and 30 minutes…I knew why. They stopped acting after that drama. They shouldn’t even have started! The 2 leads are just awfully bad, a pretty face would never compensate lack of acting talent. The story isn’t interesting at all. I am about to finish episode 2 but I already know how everything it’s gonna play out. Everything is so obvious and right in your face without a glimpse of imagination and creativity. The second leads aren’t really better. Park Sin Hye isn’t the worst actress among them but lord she cannot save this. Don’t watch it for her, even though for once she is the rich girl!! Princess hours and My Princess were already bad but at least they had somehow the charm and stupidity of old dramas. Their casts could act. This one has nothing for itself. The set design of the palace is atrocious. I can see from here that all those flowers are plastic and what we can see from the windows are pictures. I am not a quitter so I pledge to never dropped a drama that I have started but I am afraid here I will. Good point on Kocowa the definition was top tier for an old drama. Does Coffee Prince is gonna stay for ever my only 2007 drama?
I have seen a bit of this web drama back then but wanted to watch it in its entirety. I have watch 2 other movies/dramas with cats looking for this one that by the way is Korean not Chinese… Meow: Korean very bad and boring drama with L My Catman: Chinese poor quality Chinese movie with Song Weilong Maybe it’s time to give up…
I watched only the first 2 seasons of Americans. I remembered it was a good show in m term of acting and by the way they beautifully revived the 80s aesthetic. But not my cup of tea. As Americans have done like 3 billions stories with that same fear of Russian spies. I stopped watching American shows as I was bored of them, I am not happy with this choice. Love the casting by don’t give me wrong. I am already holding such a grudge against those Disney KDramas that are very westernized to me. Does American studios jealous of success of KDramas are trying to make an end of this era?’!! Tempest was already such an old thing that Americans could have done. Koreans have millions of their own stories to share. I don’t think we need to hear again and again those same stories.
It was a good watch. I love Korean seasides. Cinematography was nice, clean and blue. This is available online on Daylimotion and can be watched in no particular order or even partially. I particularly loved 2,3 and 4. They were the most touching and tackled some sensitive subjects too. 1 and 5 are my less favorites, they were to me shallow. But overall it’s an interesting drama and it’s agreeable sometimes to embark only a 6-hour journey
