That thing was bad and misogynistic. Not fun. Not realistic. Not agreeable to watch. Not educational. Acting is ridiculously bad. What of waste of time, energy and film for nothing.
Really stoked for this one. A terrific cast of lead women and what appears to be a very interesting storyline.…
The deal between ENA and Netflix is one drama a year only. Netflix is currently airing its 2025 drama. iDOL I. this one is for Viki. I don’t think the 2026 show is already known as Extraordinary attorney Woo 2 is confirmed but filming hasn’t started so it might be ready only for 2027
Get ready to be bombarded with comments from Netizens who feel we all should bow to this drama and love it with…
I’ve been on MDL for like 3 months so far I had no issue voicing my opinions on Cdramas and KDramas. I mostly crossed path nice people that could dissociate comments on characters vs real human beings. It seems that I managed to avoid the biggest fans. But thank for the head up 😄 and I would also be careful to stay respectful
The story was promising but the execution is very average. I don’t know if Lifetime has invested in other KDramas before or is involved in other kdrama since but please don’t! Many things are missing to make that drama compelling. The key message is diluted in poor fun attempts and they ended saying nothing. They worked with the usual cliches North Koreans vs South Koreans where there is so many things to say and literally some families are suffering, split in two because they were distant from a few kilometers. The acting is poor. Jokes were not funny. The romance felt random and without depth. I fet uncomfortable to see that village looking like some kind of US soldier camp base…
Jdramas like to leave you unsettled at the end or even frustrated. I cannot think about one that made me feel good. This drama felt weird to me. A bit cruel. Poor little guy, he tried and failed …but not miserably at least!
This drama started very well. I did like it until the ski trip then it get boring to very soapy. I listed this one of my list of 2025 favourite Cdramas before its end now I feel ashamed. The pvc discussions towards the second half of the drama is looking straight from a boring brochure. I didn’t like how the couple evolved they were annoying to me. I totally hated all the drama around her father, suck lack of taste to me that was poor writing and acting it did remind me soaps that my grandma would have watch after lunch. The end it so dragged around useless or ridiculous stuff (Rong’s departure was laughable overly dramatic for no reason, the final scene at this airport so atrociously cheesy 🤢🤢🤢) it was waste opportunity it could have been good. The 4 trailers that people were bombarding on social media ruined also the end for me. They also created lot of chaos and some people started saying that Netflix was cutting the episodes…They were coming from WeTV I believe and they need to learn the difference between trailers and spoilers. A trailer shouldn’t be a s simple raw cut of the most important scene of fallowing episodes but a thrilling new edit that left you without the answers. A Trailer is supposed to raise your curiosity and leave you puzzled wanting to know more. it Is the reason why they are normally done by PR or Ad agencies or a dedicated team within the channel. But again maybe it is one of those differences between west and east and maybe Chinese audiences like their contents to be spoiled. Korean channels have also a tendency to share on social media some extracts that are very close to spoilers without any care for the audience that binge watches after airing. But I learnt my lesson it was a first and would never watch again an ongoing Cdrama!!!
Currently watching but I'm contemplating dropping it because I'm getting increasingly uncomfortable with abuse…
I really hate that scene too. It makes me uncomfortable each time I watch it. The laws in Korean I believe changed recently, teachers cannot use violence anymore. In 2016 it was still possible to teacher to beat up kids. 🤢 That university seems to be dedicated to sport and were national teams pick the best athletes. Once said they are also doing too much about the weight class because athletes might have better performances in a lower class but it’s also true the heavier you are less competition you have in your class…
That thing should have been called love me, love my food. Food has more screen time than most supporting cast. The story is a bit simple I not sure the author had any special to say. But at least we are avoiding here the awful villains and annoying exes. I am not found of the dynamics of their relationship, he is controlling, act with her as if she is a child ( put cold water in her tea when did ask for it of even tasted, give her the crappy old bike with a basket and took for him a top notched VTT, decides everything in the relationship), she is on the passenger seat waiting for things to happen and she was incapable to voice anything or take any initiative this must be boring to experience, their exchanges were basic and boring too basically they just eat food thorough the all drama. Don’t watch it if you are angry without any Chinese delivery services nearby!!! Most supporting cast was useless, they are just here to watch the couples, they have no purpose in the story just accessories. For efficiency if I were producer I would have cut them! I did like the music, the traditional ones that remind me all Chinese movies and the songs sang by the woman. I wasn’t under the spell of that male lead, he isn’t very attractive. The woman is very beautiful still need to see her in a good drama…Hou Wen Yuan looks like a Chinese version of Namkoong Min but slightly less attractive 😂 Not bad but not great either a little boring.
Episode 4 and I am dropping. This drama is just bad. - annoying bad constant very loud background music. the sound engineer must had been deaf to not be able to balance music vs voices. - light: putting yellow lights directly on actors’ face isn’t a pro job. Photographer and light designer must had very poor taste because the work is very amateurish - script The story is annoying full of bad little scenes, flashbacks without any proper transition between them the editing was equally bad. - acting was very poor. I have seen school plays with more talent. They maybe tried to be funny but they are not and ended being just ridiculous and not just with their intentions.
Probably the most ridiculous Cdrama. OMG I not a quitter but after 16 episodes I couldn’t watch this any longer. The acting is atrocious without any nuances, the story doesn’t make sense and full of bad and misogynistic cliches… nothing can save this. The LM is boring and mean even during his student years which were supposed to be cute. The LF is stupid and boring, she just stand there being passive with a hair cut she stole from Dora the explorer…dialogues are “get in the car!” “Hum” “Have you eating” “no”….insufferable! If this is the romance that makes people happy I clear don’t get it or we don’t have the same definition of the word. There is nothing good or romantic
Saw this in theater a long time ago, probably the most beauty Japanese movie I ever saw. The aesthetic is crazy. The actors manage to portrait many deep and enduing emotions. That movie is really a masterpiece!!!
Not fun. Not realistic. Not agreeable to watch. Not educational. Acting is ridiculously bad. What of waste of time, energy and film for nothing.
- parents are ok
- no break-up

95% of his body of work is about Vietnam, in Vietnamese!!!
