I am currently working as Surgeon in LA and we (me and my g.f) both got that doc money, so cost of living is not a big problem but still. I asked this question cuz I heard from other people, that cost of living in other cities like San Francisco is like half of the L.A.
We spent half of our month (almost 20 days due to night shifts) in hospital dorm anyway, so why waste money on costly apartment but other stuff but after reading your comment. It sounds like not to be case and after factoring in L.A traffic, I think its best to stay put !

People like it in mainland china and hence they are making these, but this year have been worse and I really hope they settle their differences or FL their separate ways and drama focuses back on the plot.

I recommend against it cuz cases and overall plot is good but please don't watch MangoTv subs.
The investigation, criminals and royal feud is pretty good with multiple parties, fighting for power with complex dynamic relationship with ML past and with each other.
That's why I dislike FL divorce demanding in public cuz ML is already in dealing with too much and last thing he needs is, FL and her antic's.

I don't want to be "Scent of timed" where after all the angst and plot, they will pull out "it was all a dream" bs.

You don't understand the root of the problem, if they were dating, they could do whatever they want but they are married. FL is openly disrespecting her husband 24/7, like in ep 15.
Despite his repeated warnings she went on, got herself captured and due to her association with ML, his neck was also on the line for lying to Empress to save his wife. She landed him into huge trouble and he saved her ass from certain death but what did she do after coming out?
He again asked her to go back home and don't get him killed but she openly disrespected him on street by demanding divorce in front of prison guards, her friends and everybody else, who watched him jump through the hops to save her....hours ago !
That's what's wrong here ML isn't giving mixed signals, like she is to SML's and isn't disrespecting her 24/7 like she is doing, and this situation isn't "She did, He did", its his life on the line and they ruined a perfectly good drama for me.
Who does that to their life saviour immediately after the ordeal?

Lol, they clarified it there is nothing going on between them and they are friends cuz they were imprisoned together in the past. Heck, she even helped him look for the FL in the past, arranged his marriage and supported FL in front of Empress.

Let's get one thing out of the way,
FL: have unclear boundaries and spend private time with SML (Anpu Guy), TML (her partner and leader of heterosexual men) and CML (child male lead).
ML: One SFL move into his mansion, and he doesn't even spend time with her.

ML warned to stay clear of the case, but nope she has involve herself, get arrested and now everybody will blame ML for hiding it and lying to emperor, now his head and career is on the line too. If that wasn't enough, she openly disrespects him by refuting him and demanding divorce in front of public prison, in front of everybody including her friends and ML guards, immediately after saving her life. Plot wise, FL father probably have some shady dealings with "King of England/Emperor aunt" and King of England may have trapped ML father with the help of her brother, Empress dowager knows the truth.

Yeah Yeah,FL who has a whole army of men around her who are interested in her but its Okay but one SFL is a problem here. If they are grovelling route both leads have to do it !

I have a lot of choice words to call him but the whole thing was a mockery, including leads getting away with fighting 40 trained assassins. Who due to weird reasons didn't coordinate their attacks and took turns attacking them.
