And here i fell in love with his character in his first introduction, this is such a different type of character and he's doing a great job playing it.

This drama started out with an 8.5, and drop down to 7.6, then went up to 7.9 and then drop down again. I suspect it's done by haters of yangzi/xukai and those who don't like the mother or don't like slow burn romance since this is more focus on family conflict between mother and daughter. If you like family drama and slow burn romance then you're in the right place, i really like the drama so far and think the rating should be higher than 8.5.

It was brave of him to have a fish in his mouth if he has an aversion to fish. I heard it was due to a childhood experience that why he can't eat fish.

Her mother said to seize the moment otherwise she will miss an opportunity if she found someone she likes, this was the scene when her mother was telling her about the girl that she thought was yzm's girlfriend.

Well i assumed he was the owner of the law firm, he seems to be the highest position in that law firm.

That kiss scene on the bus with mch initiated, the one time her mother's advice works ^^

I find the family conflicts is very relatable. The mother and her antic is entertaining and i haven't fast forward any scenes with her, have to say compare to her those relatives are much more annoying, i think the mother is worry too much about her pride and vanity but she must not have known about mcz being bullied by his cousin, i must be the few who are really enjoying the family conflicts beside the romance.

He might've relationships in the past, but it must not mean much to him. I find it cute how unsure he's since he show such vulnerability around mch that means he cares alot about her and willing to show it to her so different from their first meeting ^^

Yzm is zhang's daughter guardian, so they do have a connection and we know from the first ep zhang did a favor for yzm in the past. Let wait and see if they will expand on their connection.

He was on screen, i just i didn't make the connection until someone told me about him, he was the guy mcz spoke to before he quit. Later we heard he and the sister were getting a divorce so it could be they were not on good term.

I asked the same question, and some one answered he is the one in charge of the law firm mcz worked at before he resigned.

I watched it a while ago, but i think it has to do with her control of mist soul. That's why they have to make so much plan in order to get back mist soul from zhu yu. Zhu yu is a powerful being, and i think ying xuwei as a guardian is just not as powerful to take back mist soul from her.

There was that conversation he had with grandma about sunflower seed i wonder if it has anything to do with it, something about the outside is black but the inside is white i wonder if she's referring to yzm as a sunflower seed. Also before grandma died he was bringing sunflowers and he said he's giving it as a gift i was wondering if the flower was meant for mch or for grandma, since if it was meant for mch why didn't he give it to her?

I think the regret has to do with leaving him to fend for himself when he was younger as a result their relationship suffered from them not living close to each other, isn't that why she introduced him to the mai family? Why did she let the mai family used the old western house and then gifting him with the house, doesn't it looks like she's leaving him to them to take care of him in her place. And yzm didn't lie to mch, in the letter grandma left to him she said she made the choice to leave the management of xing'anli to mch because she wants to give her an opportunity, that means it's his grandmother last wish and he should honor her wish and help mch keeps xing'anli from falling into the hands of outsider. I thinks the meaning in her words to him is asking him to help mch with xing'anli without exactly saying it as she is saying there's more better things in life like family rather than profits and promotions.

It's rare to see a drama being air every day like bce, i'm happy to be able to watch this drama everyday. Does anyone know what is the date of the last ep of this drama?

It's a drama about a mother and daughter relationship, so the mother does have lots of screen times, however it still a very good family drama with lots family conflicts and work related. It's a slow burn romance between main leads so check a few eps to see if the drama is something you will like.

Mao is fast, once she decides she wants zao she went for the kiss, so the second lead couple is established while the main lead still hasn't make progress. That first date was so funny, the father and brother tag along on their fishing trip, if looks could kill ^^

The mother was so protective of her daughter, that drunk guy totally deserved it, it was so funny when the mother chased after the guy with her shoe. It's a good thing yzm came and helped them out, mch was moved by her mother wanting to protect her and she realizes her mother needs her that's why she decides to move back home. Mch got the master bedroom while yzm being the owner got the attic, the mother is clear on her priority lol, she gave her daughter the best room in the house. It's becomes clear the mother loves the daughter and wants her to move back home, so her obsession with cooking her food every day while waiting for her to move back i'm kind of feel sad for her, it's pitiful to be that desperate to be in her daughter life, i also feel pity for her son, she put so much attention on her daughter that she neglected her son, it's almost like she doesn't she anyone else beside her daughter. I'm liking the interaction between yzm and mch's mother, she is not afraid to speak her mind but she met her match because he's just as frank and is not afraid to speak his mind unlike her family who are afraid to hurt her feeling. Also it's apparent the brother and dad are really apprecitative of the mother because she is responsible for everything in the house including cooking and cleaning and they think it's hard work that's why she's respected in the family. It's such a nice change to see the males in the family so understanding about what it's like being a housewife ^^

I'm really liking yzm and mch relationship and this is when they've not dated, now i can't wait for how their relationship will develop now that yzm confessed to mch. I thought mch would turn him down because she was not ready to date again after her last boyfriend, but turns out she's not unaffected by his charms and is actually considering him as a potential boyfriend ^^

If he like her for 10 years it must be very serious, it's not easy to hold on to a childhood crush, but he was able to hold on to such feeling for an older woman who is his sister's bestfriend. I think the brother is kind of quiet and shy, so he must not have a big social circle as a result i can see how he could fall in love with his sister's bestfriend especially if she's nice to him and gave him lots of attention. This type of love story kind of reminded me of a drama starred zhao lusi and chen zhezhuan that was aired recently and got very popular, i didn't watch it but i saw avenue x talked about it in her reviewed of the drama, and it's the same type of love story but the different is fl fell in love with her brother's bestfiiend at a very young age, and she holds the flame for him until she became older.
