Yes the mom can be annoying because of her country way, she can be vulgar and very enthusiastic in her dealing with others, but she's much better than those women who are so fake in their dealings. I can take her any time over those women who like to turn their nose at people who they think are poorer than them, but once they think they can use them than they started to act all friendly.

I don't see anything wrong with being a feminist. Women nowaday are more likely to work than being a stay at home mom. There are still some who are traditional and stayed at home, but in this day and age there're lots of divorces, not many stayed marry for long and even if they do have a happy marriage, it's a small percentage. What will happens to you once your husband don't love you anymore and want a divorce, how will you support yourself when that happens. How will you get a job when you haven't work in a long time because you were a traditional wife, etc this drama depicted the lives of those women who were in those predicaments. I know lots of people who are married and also working at the same time, some women who work even support their husbands and children and then are also expect to take care of the house while the husbands don't make any contribution or very little contribution. Women weren't always independent, they used to be fulltime housewives and are dependent on their husband for their liveĺihood, nowaday that's not the case anymore, women and men both work and share the burden. This drama did a good job in showing the relationship between the ml and fl and fl's brother and bestfriend and their equal partnership. How they love and support each other. Drama can be exaggerated, but it can also reflect real life, most romantic dramas are aim at women so obviously their romantic partner have to be perfect or as close to perfect as possible.

It's your opinion doesn't mean she's not cute, many who like this drama also find her cute. Actually in order to get to where he's yzm has to be ruthless and cold, i don't thinh mch could be like yzm and that's why she would not advance as high as yzm who use whatever means in his arsenal to get to his current position. I think she's too nice and would easily be taken advantage of that's why she even got demoted because she's too self righteous. There was a conversation grandma has with yzm and she said he is like his grandpa who's very good in business and only caring about profit. She always told him running a business is also about the human touch rather than profit so it makes sense why she gave mch the hotel and why the hotel was operating at a loss because grandma didn't care about profit as much as she cared about the people who worked for her.

Bian luohuan is a very interesting character because he's so different from how i picture him when he was wearing a mask and when he took it off. And his character fate is so sad knowing that he doesn't have a future and seeing jin zhao and qi together must be really sad for him 😔

Can you explain better who betrayed their family with their selfish love or what is hypocritical self righteousness because in this drama there're some flaw characters and they add spice to the drama. If drama only has people you like then it will be very boring.

What made you not like her character here compare to her character in lbfad, why do you like that character there and not here not just following the crowd and hating on the actress because it looks like those people already hating on the actress before watching the drama and that's why i said for stupid reason because her character is cute and lovable. Once you find out who she is, you just find her even cuter because it was unexpected. How is her character ruin every scene she's in, and don't tell people not to watch the drama just because you don't like this drama, it's not a waste to me.

Like you said fl just needs an opportunity, networking is important. Ml got his position through the help of ms. Zhang and she in turn expected him to return the favor, later he told her he has helped her to secure her current position so he didn't owe her anything. Fl also got into the company through her dad connection with ms. Zhang, her position is much lower than ml. Both ml and fl work hard to get to their position, but without connection they might not get that opporunity. Grandma left yzm a house and mch the hotel because she knows mch shares the same value as she does, and she will help makes the hotel profitable and she did. Why she didn't leave yzm the hotel because she knew the hotel is just a means for him to get a promotion, he will turn it over to someone else after he got the hotel and leave china. I think grandma leave him the house is hoping he will stay in china and maybe she also wanted to do a little match making, because she must've know yzm has feelings for mch and want them to get together by asking him to help mch with the hotel and in turn giving him a family as she said in her last word to him she hopes he will not becomes a stray anymore because it makes her worry. In her letter to yzm she explains herself and made yzm understood why she made that decision and he in turn choose to honor her wish.

How is she annoying can you specify why she's annoying. Fl not only know how to fight but she is also smart and loyal. For me as long as fls are smart and strong and not stupid or a pushover she's ok in my book, here fl is a bit naive but not stupid, this is because she loss all her memories at the start of the drama. She also one of the strongest character in this drama who was able to carry her own weight, who has rescue the ml many times in tough situations. What with the hatred for the fls in cdramas, i have come upon comments hating on fls in many xukai dramas, many pretending to be his fans and giving a bad impresson on his fans as a whole, and we're being called toxic, who's doing this because most of xukai's fan are sensible, and if you don't like the fl you are welcome to watch something else, it's getting annoying with the hate train just for ridiculous reason.

I think that's your problem and has nothing to do with the genre. These dramas are written for women, and women nowaday have lots if things on their mind other than just romance or to live for a man, that's a thing in the past and you should accept that. If you like dramas with a traditional wife you better look for historical genre or dramas that were produced in the 90s, in those days most women don't have a career and her only job is being a housewife. If you noticed in this drama the fl's mother is a housewife and looks at how she became unsatisfied due to her husband is not capable and always worried about money. The ex's boyfriend mother was a housewife also, but she wasn't much of a mother because her children were both lazy and are not capable, and can only relies on their dad for their inheritance. The sister became a shrew after she got married because she ŵas jealous of her own brother because he could marry for love. The husband has a mistress outside of marriage eventhough the wife was devoted to him. See what i'm saying women should have their own careers before they're thinking of marriage so they can provide for themselves rather than relies on their husband like mao who went through a divorce and got her creation stolen by her husband because she became his assistant after their marriage, the fl has always been caring, if she was nice to her ex, her family, her best friend than to the man she loves she will treats him even more special. When they were not dating, she was the first to call him family beside his grandmother. And since they're living with her parents, it's her mother who will take care of all his needs like cooking and cleaning. Both of them are career minded, it's not just her who is caring about her career, he is the same. The different in the two of them is the fl is testing out her independent from her mother, the ml is the opposite he has finally realizes family is the most important than gains. The both of them values family so there's no question they will put their children when they do have a family of their own above their careers due to their own experiences.

There is no proof of what you said that she treated her ex better than ml, her ex was a bum who has lots of times on his hands waiting for fl to find time for him since she was always busy with work, ml on the other hand is just as busy with his own work, so both of them get off work together and always find time to spend together, this is what i call a mature romance. What you said about anyone could do the same for ml if his father died, is that so putting his father at her hotel and letting him live there for free, or helping him mend fences with his father, or sitting outside of his room the whole night while he was grieving in his room.. She didn't get jealous when she was told by her mother of seeing him spending time with another girl, leaving the light on for him when he comes home late. All these things that she did for him showing her caring nature.

Yes the relationship is mature and and it's expected they will get marry in the future. Before she dated her ex for three years and she was pressured by her mother to get marry that's why she went through with it, here her parents and best friend and brother all support their relationship unlike the relationship with her ex. Also they both have just been together for like a year, they don't need to rush into marriage right away like many couples in this day and age who live together for many years before getting marry. It's already an improvement that the mother is not pressuring her daughter to get marry like she was in the past just because she turns 30. Mch has becomes a boss and is always busy with work, so she's putting off their marriage while we see yzm is ready to settle down that why we hear him saying he's ready for marriage. Still the decision to get marry is between the two of them, they both have to be ready for it to work, so i think this is to show the changes in the both of them from when they were first introduced. True the drama's focus has always been about family, if you're watching only for romance then it might not be for you.

If you don't like the actress then don't watch the drama. I find her character is very cute and innocent, not a waste of time in my opinion since i watched this drama twice.

They started out as sibling but eventually realizes their feelings for each other. The drama is focuses more on family and friendship than romance, but romance is also prominence just not in your face because both of their characters are very young.
