I'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed this. If it's not complain about the fl's acting then it's her look or her voice, or another character in the drama. Never about the plot or anything to do with the main leads that are positives. Every drama has something positives and negatives, why do these people only picked something negative and harping on the same point over and over again. I can see why his dramas are not too popular, all the negativity are driving away watchers.

Don't know what the trope is, but i really like this type of story about training to get stronger, there's an entire genre with this type of formula as this is adapted from a novel.

I'm not saying 24 eps won't be gruelling, but it's a welcome change from xukai's usually longer dramas, and will attract more viewers who like the shorter format. Yes that would be nice, i really love ama and wouldn't mind seeing a similar atmosphere to that ^^

That would be cool if it's going to have multiple seasons. I remember waiting a long time for ouatilm season 2 that never came lol. I would even welcome falling into your smile season 2 ^^

I don't disagree with you that she should consult with them, but i don't think her only interest is about money as she marry the dad eventhough he was poor. She wants her daughter to have a better life than she did, by marrying someone rich so she doesn't have to worry about money like her mother. Her thinking is flaw as money can't buy happiness, but there's no doubt she loves her children and want the best for them.

This is the first drama of xukai with the least number of eps. I hope xukai will have a long break before going back to filming, he deserves it ^^

I wouldn't call the mother a gold digger as she hasn't demand anything from the groom side of the family besides wanting her daughter to marry well. The people on here seem to be judging the mother just because she prefer the boyfriend to be rich than poor, but let be honest what parents wouldn't want their daughter to marry well and have less to worry about money. My objection with the mother is how she arranged her daughter marriage behind her back and insisting it was for her own good without consulting her daughter. This might've been done in the old day when parents have much more control over their children lives and even plan their marriage to complete stranger, nowaday children are more independent and have their own careers so her action is consider as unbecoming.

The sister started it way back, and not everyone can stay calm when hearing your daughter being insulted. You have a funny way of defending the xin family, they were blaming the fl for their business failing, and you think the mom should stay calm and not make a scene. And how did you arrive at blaming the mom when she was reduce to tears as those mother and daughter were ganging up on her, should the fl ignore it and let it go.

Yes the mother was wrong and she shouldn't go behind her daughter's back to setup that wedding without consulting her daughter. I'm also glad the fl walk away and didn't let her mother force her into that marriage. In her own defense she wasn't forcing her to marry into that family as she thinks what's matter is she marry the guy she loves regardless of his family disaproval. Although later on, the sister was the one that sought out the mom to initiate that marriage for her inheritance.

I think the reason is because they don't end up together, so it doesn't make sense to gìve them more scenes together and take away from the main couple.

I think some of his fans got tired of her negative comments about xukai. Also it's hard to distinguish between a hater and a fan if the fan always commented negativity about someone they said they like. As she also in this comment section and complaining about his look with phrases like he looks horrifically bad or ugly just because he has loss some weight or saying he's weak will and easily being influenced...

The sister was acting like a snob in their first meeting at the engagement party so she was looking down on fl and her family from the start. Also regardless what the mother think of the boyfriend, she was also the one who told fl to get marry to him when she thought he was poor, she was just looking out for her daughter. The xin family was acting all nice when they needed the fl and then when they couldn't use her they started to blame her for their business failing. If your daughter being insulted obviously you would get mad and come to her defense. The mother doesn't care about being disrespected as long as her daughter marry well, it's the daughter that got angry that she and her mother was being disrespected. And in my culture disrespecting an elder is the same thing as being uneducated. Regardless if the mother is uneducated, she was acting that way because her daughter was being insulted

The mother was the only one left out of the loop about the fall out between fl and the ex's family over the business venture with ml that the ex's family blamed on fl. Also the mother wasn't the only person that comes to the ex's house, the ex's mother came to her house to apologize and want their son to get back together with her daughter, so it's a wonder she has expectations. Also the prenups was meant as an insult by the sìster as the ex knew the fl doesn't care about his money as she said many times she don't want to rely on his parent's money. The fl's mother is from the country, so she is old fashion and doesn't understand about this new rule in marriage where the assets can be protected from the other party. She's worry her daughter is taken advantage of, in saying she's greedy yes when it comes to her daughter she wants the best for her as she thinks marrying rich will make her daughter happy. Of course this is not true even when there's love, a relationship will not work out if the ex family looks down on the fl family for being poor. Let just say as long as it's your family, even when they're wrong you will still defend them, disrespecting her parents is the same as disrespecting her, that's why she react so strongly.

I recently learned that xukai's mom has been ill. Let wish for a full reçovery for his mom, xukai has always been a filial son so his stress could also comes from his mother's health rather just from work.
