Xukai always get new project after he finished his shooting, and he said in an interview he will be shooting his new project in December. We never gets the heads up about what his new project going to be until close to the shooting of the drama. This time is the same, there was some rumors about his new project, but there's no announcement yet.

OMG what a bad father, I got a bit emotional seeing how badly lini was treated by his father and brothers since he was a child because of his mother's background. If it wasn't for lini his father wouldn't even be able to sit on the throne, and for him to look down on his mother by not giving her the title of empress. Lini chose to return his title given by his father because he was angry at how his father look down on his mother. I feel so bad for him, that father is the worst father of the year. He didn't get any rewards for outing the rebels and instead gotten punished for speaking up for his mother 😞

I don't disregard what you said but in my experience of watching dramas, fl always get hate on no matter how she's written. No she's not a paragon of virtue, she just reacted to things she experienced, I already written my views in past comments about her character. In regards to the fake cuilin decision to betrayed lini's men I don't see it as her fault since he also kept it from her, she gotten mad at him for going behind her back, but in her conversation with her servant friend she said she understood why he did it, his decision was because he was worried for their father, so he made a deal with their enemy. Yes it's a weak excuse, but she accepted it because he did it for their father. Also in that same conversation, she also understood lini because he was in pain when he accused her and injured her. In regards to her anger, she just loss a brother, and no matter what he has done, he was also someone who grew up with her and who has save her life multiple times. Lini knew about the attack but chose to stand on the side line while her life was in danger, he chose to get revenge over her safety and that's why she's angry at him since it's not just her brother but a lot of her men were also killed. She lashes out at him because she was in pain just like how he lashes out at her. Cuilin is not an emotional person like lini, but she can still feel emotion and anger when it comes to the people she loves. Also she's in grief and felt guilty for the death of her brother, so it's understandable for her to reacted in such a way. It's because it was lini that's why she reacted so strongly, if it was someone else she wouldn't react in such a way. Let say if they didn't have the kind of understanding like they do, she would treat him like an ally without getting her emotion involved. She has no appetite so she couldn't eat or take medicine, I don't see that as being spoiled, it was the servant friend who was thinking of way to get her to eat because she was worried for her, the fl didn't ask her to do anything for her. You said the servant friend was more mature, but she also angry at the guy she likes because he didn't come to help when she was in danger, they also had a lover spat because of it, so why do you only blame on the fl.

I can guess, it seems to me recent dramas have very high rating compare to dramas that are older. I think lots of these watchers are younger audiences who are into the mls or the couples rather than the plot. Xukai pair a lot with older actresses, so he will not attract these audiences, and his dramas more focus on plots rather than on romance. I think wonderland of love is an exception where we see the main couple and their romance is the focus of the plot. Also even though jing tian is older than xukai, they still makes a very good looking couple ^^

Yes it's a hong Kong drama I watched a long time ago when I was much younger and I kind of idolize the fl and thought she was really cool ^^

The weapons don't look fake to me, but for fighting scenes in cdramas they're often exaggerated to make the fighters much more powerful. This drama is much more realistic compare to some dramas with overpowered characters.

The main couple in this drama gives me nostalgia of another couple I watched a long time ago. The fl also uses needle when she first met ml, ml also called her devious and mean. Ml and fl always fought since they were not always on the same side. They also kept love tokens of each other. Ml liken fl to his soulmate, this term really describes lini and cuilin and how they see each other in my opinion ^^

What drama that has more raters than watchers. Sounds like it got manipulated since even those who don't watch drama rated?

I'm talking about him being the house husband and she being the one who makes money, role reversal since it used to be women's domain as housewife and men making money. Also later on when he got a job at the office, I think she still makes more money than he does until later when he switched company. I think dramas show ml cooking is to appealing to female audiences who desire their guys to cook lol.

Did you check the tags when watching this drama. No you will not find a damsel in distress, or a weak-will girl in the fl, she was raised by her father to be just as strong and smart as any males. She knows to use trick to win because she can't win by strength alone. If fl annoyed you, then this drama is not for you since she has a major role in this drama. Both ml and fl from the moment they first met they fall in love by fighting each other. Ml not the only one who has pride, fl also has lots of pride, both of them are dominant and refuse to gives in, they met and have been competing against each other ever since, and think they have met their match. What makes you think fl doesn't deserve ml, she is the daughter of a general, she can command an army and can be of help to ml in a battle. Even if he loses to her, it does not make him any less of a man, not sure why you think a man chasing after such a girl is not prideful meeting his match. Does it matter who wins or loses. I hope wonderland of love will be on Netflix. So it will reach more audiences. I'm so happy this drama comes out and we get to see xukai in top form in this role, lini is really made for xukai. Thanks those behind wonderland of love to pick xukai for this role and jingtian as a match for him. This character is so fun and care free, I'm afraid what will happens in the future since I got spoil so I know there will be some heartbreak as xukai compare it to ancient love poetry. I hope lini and cuilin will weather it out 😭

Ep 10 is the ep I really like when they were spending their time in the cottage waiting for the rain to stop and both of them just had a moment together, and all the eps with the two of them lol. This drama is so romantic I really like how much screen times the two leads have in this drama compare to xukai's other dramas this is the most screen times we get from him. But I like all the early eps because we get so much of them trying to outwit the others. I'm the opposite and want to savor every ep. Watching on YouTube and waiting for eps is torturing, I'm thinking of paying to watch more eps. But I'm also afraid for it to end too fast lol.

Agree I really like how the both of them were able to guess what the other was thinking in the early eps. I think it's because both of them admire and respect each other as a worthy opponent. Cuilin I can tell is totally smitten towards lini by the way she talk to her father about him ^^

That scene of lini proposal to cuilin I saw a BTS of it and it was really funny when his horse started acting up and wanting to move closer to her. Both of them have so much chemistry that even his horse sense it ^^

That general is too cruel, like father like daughter. Cuilin used to kick lini into the well when they first met, this time his first meeting with lini he trap him in a suitcase if cuilin hasn't vouch for him, is he truly going to kill him. I can't read him at all. I feel so bad for lini lol, meeting this father and daughter he will suffer more in the future if he does marry cuilin. Everyone is thinking lini has another plan, and it turned out his plan was with the ex-crown princess. How did he gotten her to agree with his plan? Sun jing couldn't imagine being betrayed by his own lover, what a smart move. Are they really dead? Also how did that fake cuilin survive, he has to have nine lives lol, getting injured so many times and coughing up so much blood and still not died from so many wounds.

Same since xukai picked this, I trust he will pick a good script. Can't wait to see hanting play by xukai and also his chemistry with seven tan, as he always has good chemistry with the actress he paired with ^^
