Can't wait to see xukai as hanting in ABAY, you're making me curious about his character even more ^^

True he's not a professional singer. I like his voice when he sang for arsenal military academy and falling into your smile as a duet. I hope to see him sing more often, and in his own dramas because I think xukai can be a good singer if he train his voice ^^

I know his voice was dub over, but in a live stream I heard jingtian said he sang the song for laolan pass, so I was wondering if the singer was really him or it was dub over like his voice..

He has progressed steadily. I saw many of his dramas starting from story of yanxi palace and I'm always impressed with his emotional scenes especially in ancient love poetry and court lady when he has to deal with a death of someone closest to him. It's just felt so real 😭

Can someone tells me if xukai sing the song in ep 17 or is it dub by someone else?

They did, but then they took it down, and I have no idea why since other actors/ actresses also have rumor dramas but weren't taken down after it was posted like this drama.

Yeah I think she was mad at him for going behind her back and make decisions without her knowledge, that's why she rage at him and avoided him when he seek her out. Still he was someone who grew up with her, who save her life multiple times, and she thinks his decision was thinking for her and her father, so her grief overcome her anger. It's the same thing with the people we love, they might've done something to wrong us in the past, but once they died you forgotten all of it, and only think about their goodness.

I thought both of their plan were sound and it doesn't hurt the both of them to work together. It was his brothers and father that ruined their plan, and the fake cuilin was just as stupid for ruining an alliance that favor both their armies because of his jealousy. It's not her fault for that fake cuilin's action, he was just delusional and stupid and lini was angry about his men's death that's why he blew into a rage, but he also knew she had nothing to do with it.

He grew into a rage and blamed her for his men death and injured her she didn't blamed him and understood he was in pain. Her brother died she was in grief so she also acted out and injured him with words, also don't forget in order to get revenge he waited until the last minute to come to her help, and lots of her men died from that attack. If not for her brother who took a sword for her, she would've gotten hurt badly so her anger at him is he cares more for revenge than her safety that why she rage at him why he didn't just let her die. I understood her logic and also understood why he apologized because it does looks like he could've fire that last arrow and help her, but he hesitated because he want the brother to be killed.

You reminded me of something I forgot while watching loss in Kunlun mountain. I was clicking on wetv I think and there was someone kept badmouthing xukai acting and praised the sml. And I remember how the sml was so annoying and stupid the fact that person even went to the trouble to praise him was laughable. He was so pathetic and gotten too much screen times, I would have prefer all his screen times be given to a more popular character, she was so cool but she got cut out from the drama in the second half just like some of the other major characters while this guy was put in to annoy the viewers with his stalking of the fl.

You're right, I forgotten about that, I didn't consider it was a love token in ancient love poetry since he gave it to her as a birthday present, and I don't think he was in love with her at the time. Yeah they can be counted as a love token, but it wasn't exchange by the couple like in this drama, I think exchange love token is much more romantic in my opinion ^^

The second couple is kind of cute too, the guy is so funny when he doesn't understand the girl intention. I like him and all of Lini's men they're so funny and loyal. It's rare to find such likable group of people and they all gather around lini. It just shows lini is someone who really good at making friends. I will be sad if anything happens to them 😭

Do you watch many historical dramas, I think it's usually the girl that give love token to the guy. This is my first time seeing the guy giving love token to a girl.

Yeah, it looks too obvious to be anything but a troll. What with these people, almost like they're afraid of xukai's popularity and want to start trouble, I saw something similar in the ancient love poetry comments back then too, you don't see these trolls in his less popular dramas, are they that desperate for attention lol ^^

It's obviously a troll. Xukai has always been good in showing emotion, he can express so much emotion with his eyes alone lol. Just ignore that troll, probably never watch a single drama of xukai, and only come here to make trouble. I remember the comment section of ancient love poetry also had someone like that, what with these people don't have nothing better to do but just come here to obviously start a fight. It's like they're jealous of xukai's popularity and success. Don't engage them, it's not worth it.

For the legend, it was because they tried to extend the length of the drama and ran out of idea. I thought it should of ended at their wedding. The added love triangle or the many characters deaths were just stupid.

I'm in love with ep 17, these two lovebirds are just too cute. So they both return the items they had of each other, and then they gave their items back to the other person. This is so romantic and I'm not even a romantic person, is this what it call exchanging love token, they had something of each other to remember each other by. Lini compare cuilin's father to her and said both of them refused to lose, now we can see why cuilin is the way she is, she was taught by a master, even lini can't do anything with the general taking hostage his father and brothers ^^

Court lady is one drama where ml has relationship with another woman beside fl, he also let her moved in to his house although there was nothing between them, but he made fl believe he moved on by faking a relationship with her. Arsenal military academy is another where ml spent lots of time with sfl even though he likes fl. You complain about fake ml because they're loyal to one woman, actually the problem is viewers like those types of mls and most viewers are women who don't like cheaters. She and her perfect husband has ml breaks up with fl, and spent time with his ex, and it wasn't well received by the audiences from all those who made complaints about the last few eps. You complain about fake mls but they're written to satisfy audiences desire, so if you don't like these mls in cdramas and kdramas, you should check other countries dramas, the one that's not as conservative. You can watch western shows, they usually have more realistic mls and they don't have as much censorship as cdramas do.

Let agree to disagree, ml hurts fl and that's why he apologized. Fl left because she loss her will to live living like a prisoner. Should she leave him and takes her child with her, do you think it would be less cruel of her, because I think she was showing some kindness by leaving her child with him. If it was someone who's vicious she would take the child and jump with her committing double suicide. She must care for the child enough and love him enough to leave her child with him.

I'm watching it for xukai. Haven't seen any drama of Esther yu so this will be my first time watching her drama. Was thinking of checking out my journey to you, but haven't got around to watch it yet. Xukai will be playing two characters in this drama, it's call Chinese paladin 6.
