the non-vip schedule is this-from March 5th to 8th, one episode each day then 12 to 15, one each day,then 19 to…
Thanks for the schedule, I was confused after the first week, what the release schedule for non-vip. I'm assuming the release on YouTube will go by this schedule then.
Watching up to ep 11, you yi fan uses yue hua to help him killed his father's wife. At first I thought he wanted to harms her, but turns out it's the matron, her mother that gotten punished instead, so he gotten his revenge by harming two women. One has something to do with his mother death I assumed, what about the matron, what is his beef against her, is it because his father has associated with her, and that's why he was against her from the very beginning? Also those two who went against the matron and made her lose her position, actually were friends and pretend to be enemies for 10 years just so they could get her to relax her guard, that's some patience.
Zhan ji has a very close relationship with his grandfather compare to the rest of his family. It's kind of comical how he dealt with his uncles and father, he has a mean streak just like his grandfather ^^
This drama was adapted from a novel. Too bad there's no English translation of it, otherwise I would love to read…
Both of them were trained by the school to become soldiers, so them being spies don't sound that ridiculous. Then again I could be wrong, and they went to get married after walking into the sunset lol ^^
for me this drama is so - so not so good not so bad. the 2nd ml... he deserves better ã… ã… i watched this drama…
2nd ml have both parents, has a fiance, a sister, gains a brother in law, and a kingdom. The guy is so lucky compares to ml, I wonder why you think he deserves more luck than he already gotten. In the end, he even gotten the kunwu clan healer to treat him lol. The only thing he didn't get was fl's love in which his love came on too fast and wasn't that convincing. Ml is the one that deserves a better fate, it's almost like this story was written to make him suffer, and his one consolation is the fl whom has hurt him so many times, and rather trust in another man than in the guy she professes to love. And for her, he even left his friends behind to live in a different world away from everything he knows 😂
Finally a drama where the cross dressing girl looks actually like a boy. The FLs and MLs silly banter keeps you…
This drama was adapted from a novel. Too bad there's no English translation of it, otherwise I would love to read it since I'm convinced there might've been more details missing from the drama that was in the novel. I heard in the novel, the two main leads left the school and become spies to join the fight against the Japanese, I think I got that from some comments I read online and I've been wondering about how true it's.
Anyone else obsessed with the ending song? It's sooo goooooood
I'm liking the opening as well, the music for this drama seems to bring peace and calm to the watchers combine with the food theme giving us a sense this drama will have a happy ending, hope it stays that way ^^
Suddenly I feel so sad.....shouldn't have read the spoiler...
We're not really watching for the real historical figures, but rather the fictional embellishments with some real history throwns in. That's how I see it so don't let it get you down, like yanxi palace, most everyone was rooting for the fictional romance between fuheng and yingluo over the fl relationship with the emperor. This is all up to the plot and the interpretation of what their characters should be like according to the screenplay...I'm not that particular, my interest is in the food, and how they will bring about the fl and ml romance base in this time period in history. Also it's rare to see a drama focuses on the ruling of three emperors of the ming dynasty, rather than the ruling of one like most historical dramas.
It looks to me in this drama zhan ji is not very close to his mother the crown princess since they have so little interaction. The crown prince despises his wife for some reason I assume he thinks she's too controlling. The emperor only cares about his grandson, and is disappointed in his oldest son, while favoring his younger son. There is another son, but he is not being focus much, so don't know if he'll be important in the future. And then there's the illegitimate son of the prince of Han, whose identity is unknown to the royal family, and is only known by his father. The drama at the moment is very light, don't know if things will change. I assumed it will since the trailer shows zhan ji becoming king in the future, so I'm looking forward to the plot and future development. In term of the food, I hope it will be the main focus of this drama hence the name, as well as giving us a satisfying conclusion to the main leads relationship.
