She seems to resent her family, and her relation to her husband is so cold when he went out of his way to be nice to her. I'm thinking he must care for her much more than she does him, I feel bad for him, being treated so coldly by his own wife...He deserves a better wife, that's where wu jin yan character comes in ^^

I only focus on those important characters, while those who are not important I forget. If they matter to the story they will show up again anyway. Plus I love the focus has been on food making, really a very nice heartwarming story and the fact I already love the main leads, and can't wait for them to get together ^^

Yeah I can tell, Yu zheng has many talented artists under him, I like seeing familiar faces while watching a good drama, and seeing them in a different role ^^

I'm also tempted to rewatch this drama while waiting for royal feast. 1 ep a day is not enough :(

And here I'm already in love with their characters, and thought they have lots of chemistry even when they haven't met. I'm really liking her way of returning a favor to him, it looks like she already has feeling for him even though she has not seen him face to face ^^

It's about the same pace as yanxi palace for me. I think I'm really enjoying it even more than yanxi palace in the early eps. I guess it's the topic that makes it interesting since I love cooking show ^^

This drama has so many familiar faces, not only from court lady, but also arsenal military academy. I'm enjoying spotting them ^^

I think u have to wait for the proper sub. I watched the first two eps on YouTube, and the sub is good. I'm assuming we will get 2 eps sub each day.

Watched the first 2 eps, and I'm liking it. The main emphasis has been on the food service bureau, In the first ep it shows the three girls competing to enter the food service, were they the only three competing? I wasn't sure whether there were others competing with them, they're the main focus of the show so far. I'm liking the ml and fl as well, they both are smart and nice people. Looking forward to more eps ^^

Was watching royal feast and saw him in it with xukai again. Happy bday ^^

She will become more mature, and will smile less as she accepted her duties of chief god. Although she's in love so I don't blame her if she would smile more around him. I'm convinced both ml and sml fell for her base on her radiant smile ^^

Actually in my opinion it wasn't an idol drama. Most dramas in republican period are not idol dramas if the focus is on military, and this is a school for students to learn to become a soldier, so I'm not sure where you got that idea. It's the up and down every day life of these students and their teachers, and it details many serious topics including killing and being a responsible person. The focus was very light on romance, the main leads didn't even have a kiss scene, so for those who don't care for romance they actually refer this dramas being it has everything but not too heavy to be their representative of a good republican drama.

Looking forward to xukai and wu Jin Yan pairing in royal feast ^^
