What do you consider as having the look and presence of a powerful chief god, someone like wuhuan? Wuhuan is arrogance and self important, and could never measure up to shanggu even if she tried. Compare to the other true gods she is much younger, her best friend was 100,000 years old while she was just 10,000 years old. Even then she became so mature as the show progress.

It would be nice to see ancient love poetry appears on Netflix. Just the cinematography alone is amazing, more people would be able to enjoy this drama. I wouldn't mind watching it again ^^

I don't think so, what matters to me is good plot, good chemistry, good acting and great action scenes making this drama my favorite drama of xukai. Anyway the ml and sml loves her for her personality, and not how she looks. As a matter of fact, the one who is getting most compliments for his look in the show is ml, so I'm not sure why people are so quick to judge on her look, she looks the part of the most powerful goddess.

I think because he understood his character and that's why he was able to be so convincing in his portrayal. He didn't just act out the role, he became that character and that can move the audience on a much deeper level ^^

Agree Baijue is such a memorable character that I still can't move on from him after watching this drama a few months ago. I didn't bawled, but his character just make me feel all sort of emotion that I can't even describe, it's been a while since I fall so hard for a drama character ^^

What repel you about those 3 dramas? I haven't watch love and redemption, but seen ashes of love and ancient love poetry and absolutely love ancient love poetry. I'm still reserving my judgement whether to watch this.

Court lady was following novel, but for this one it will be an original script. Hopefully it will give them lots of screen times since we're watching for the main couple.

I think Jing yang was already changing after he gotten his punishment from baijue. When he was speaking to wuhuan in that one scene and made her surprised with his answer when he said he wouldn't mind peace with the demons, so I'm glad to see his last parting words to her. He use to look down on the demon clan, and now his mother is so much worse than the demon clan because she's a devil ^^

I do. She should be punished much more severely, I don't know what's like living forever and experience all kind of illnesses, but she doesn't looks like she is suffering at all.

For Jing Zhao I think Baijue and shanggu are lenience to her because she just loss both her father and brother, and the one thing genuine about her is her love for her family, knowing she and her mother are the reason for their deaths is a kind of punishment I guess.

Yeah we agree, lixuan and the second prince story lines are more interesting than fl and prince mu together. Would've prefer if this drama has explore more lixuan origin, my assumption it was cut to fit the # of eps.
