Wuhuan is only likable in the beginning, then she's just irredeemable. The only person I consider stupid is muguang for his blind love toward wuhuan. His character has so much potential when he was introduced, but he became such a disappointment, in writing wuhuan the writer reduces the heavenly emperor to an idiot. He still wants to protect his wife even after knowing she killed his teacher, throwing his son under the bus to protect her secret, and then asking for her life after her secrets has been revealed. His sacrifice was the least he could've done for all the damage she has caused. Is this type of person exist in real life, his title as emperor was a joke, the one good thing he did was giving up his title as heavenly emperor.

Then why do you go to bailu page to write about xukai. Yes I'm a fan and I don't follow any actor beside xukai because I do think he's a talented actor. However to make a good drama there're many factors and most important is the script/ the screen writer. No matter how good an actor/actress they're only as good as the script, the legend is an example. No matter how great the chemistry between the actors it was ruined by bad edits as well as bad writing, putting too much emphasis on a support character while ignore the main characters as well as all the other support characters that they spent so much time to build. Such a wasted potential due to putting pressure on the writer to write more eps when it should've ended at 40 eps or even earlier it would've been perfect.

Lol and I can say the same about xukai since I watched most of his dramas and love all the characters he play even in dramas he doesn't have much screentime he still makes me root for him. That's what I call great acting when you can make your audience fall in love with your character. Stop with praising one actor by putting down another, it's annoying I can see clearly that you're trying to make a fan war. If you don't like an actor then don't watch them, it's obvious you have an obsession with him with the number of times you bring him up 🤣

Agree, but this is as someone already said already a xanxia drama and not wuxia. I also like zhou dong yu and xukai chemistry in this drama, and would like to see them working in another drama again ^^

You seem to obsess with xukai, wherever I go you keep bringing him up. Even in dramas that don't have him in it like novaland pearl eclipse with yang mi. Don't know what your problem is with yang mi I doubt you would look as good as her when you turn her age. Your the one who should go away, at least with xukai he is hard working and always improve on his acting while your here starting a fan war first with yang mi and zhou li zing and now what r you trying to do the same with xukai and bailu. How annoying 🙄

No problem, they're long dramas, but if you stick with it I think you will enjoy them like I do, if you don't mind angst ^^

Court lady is a good choice.

I like manting character, she is really like the female version of gu Yan Zheng. She was just so honest with her feeling and putting herself out there, her loyalty to him was really touching that I'm just entertain when they're together. Too bad he just not into her, probably due to how much alike they're, her ending up with the elder sheng brother was a good choice for her. Agree with the seal being dangle on liangchen hand, I was also questioning why didn't she hide it in her pocket or jacket lol ^^

I'm like you. Xukai is the only actor that I watched multiple dramas back to back my first was story of yanxi palace, the legend and then I just went to look for more dramas of his to watch. I think he's really good at picking scripts, when the drama failed expectation it's usually because of bad edits and bad writing on second half, and in all those dramas I love his speaking voice or the one who dub him just really matching his characters, but all this time i thought it was his own voice since I'm not familiar with the language so the dubbing is not a bother. Also his eyes are so expressive, i find myself always focus on his eyes, they're very beautiful ^^

I wouldn't go that far to say they lose interest in each other since from the very beginning it was ml chasing after fl, while fl was totally disinterested due to her first impression of him. It was only through sharing a room with him, and having to go through some sad experiences and hardships together that her impression of him change. Also fl only recognized her feeling for ml after she change her room, and accept his feeling for her as real and not just him playing around with her. I think this drama manages to stand on its own even without the romantic scenes between the main leads. The support roles also help adding to the richness of this drama and not taking away from it although it does felt jarring when ml just went missing from the drama and fl and sml have too much screentime together.

In China, good look matters more than acting skill. In dancing of the sky empire, the actress playing the princess already has main roles. If she leaves her agency, will she be treated better, doubtful.

Just slight bromance between ml and the doctor and ml and the one in the wheelchair forgot his name. Both guys are kind of like friends to the ml and he would get advice from them.

This is one drama that has the least angst compare to most of his other dramas, and it's also set in modern time.
