Why do you think it was force that what I'm getting. Why can't ml be attracted to her and she to him, The only I can think of that you would think it was force is if you have a problem with her look. For me if I fall for the fl, then it only make perfect sense for ml to fall for her as well and vice versa. I like xukai playing Baijue in this drama, he gave a very moving performance with this character. It's your loss, all I can say is drama with the best plot is the one that take time to develop it plot, it doesn't always has the best start, but it's the one that stays with you the most if you give it a chance.

The romance feel natural to me unless you have a problem with the actress's look The attraction is there, but the romance took a thousand years for them to confess. Although every long drama does take a few eps to get going, and the main story doesn't start until ep 16. The beginning eps is just to establish the mains relationship, and once the plot get going it's keeps getting better. Too bad you gave up too early since this is my favorite xanxia ^^

I love all the characters he played, but baijue has become my favorite character of his, and as a result ALP has become my favorite drama ^^

Baijue regains his memory first in ep 30s while shanggu will remember in ep 40s if I remember correctly.

This is always the case for long running drama. I'm the type of person who loves show with character development, so I'm always expecting the character will change for the better especially in regards to main leads. She becomes more mature after she took on a student toward ep 10 I think.

I also like the battle scenes, looking really cool, my only complaint is it's hard to know who's playing who since they don't play the same character.

Agree about the action scenes. The ml and fl are show to be strong but can't seem to beat their opponents who should be weaker than them. Especially the ml, he always get injured and him having the demon inside him should have make him the strongest but they don't want to show him beating his opponents, so it always fall back to his injury causing him to lose. This keeps happening that it just became ridiculous, I watch the show for the main leads but the plot is just so frustrating in the second half when it focused on a support character taking the leads screentime, as well as other characters who were just killed off for convenience sake lol 🤣Agree xukai has beautiful eyes, like the fl said like stars in the sky ^^

It does focus on them playing the game through out the drama. It's up to your enjoyment some people who don't care for the game was still able to enjoy it. There is some focus on cyberbullying and how toxic social media can be, the family background was touch upon, but not explore much.

ALP is my favorite drama of his, so it'll be hard to top it, this is coming from someone who seen most of his dramas. It's been months since I finished, but I'm still not over it ^^

I understand your point. For me manting was trying so hard because she think liang chen was a guy, and her way of fighting for the guy she loves is very open and honest unlike with some other dramas I seen where the sfl is just toxic and annoying. I just love manting for not afraid to pursue her feeling and just being entertained by her antic. Both manting and gu Yan Zheng are likely my favorites in this drama ^^

I also love him in story of yanxi palace, arsenal military academy, and many of his other dramas. This is the first modern drama of his that is light hearted and fun with no misunderstanding. The fl is still new to acting I think she was able to portray her role as a cool gamer well enough. For the second couple, I like the girlfriend of the fl, but i didn't think much of the boyfriend, I kept thinking what she see in him, it's only toward the end I thought he proves himself to her that I start to like the couple. Yeah working together is so much better than being on opposite side, it also allows them to get to know each other and understand each other's motivation. Their relationship stay strong because they're a team ^^

Here I watch and didn't even notice. Although I have to wonder whether being an e'sport player makes good money. It's obvious the ml is rich, but what about the other players in his team as well as the other teams, or is it dependent on whether the club is rich or not?

It's weird your priority is his looks. Xukai is gorgeous in this drama so don't know what your on. Also the main couple relationship is what attracts me, honestly the second couple only become interesting toward the end. In my opinion they being on the same team and supporting each other is the best part of this drama.

I can see why you don't like it. Those girls being parade around, they probably show girls, and was probably common for men to be looking for those type of women who are in that business. Manting wanting to introduce liang chen to those girls at first I thought as a real girlfriend but now I think about it, no respectable girls would willing to be parade
around and introduce to a guy like that.

I like xk and zdy chemistry, the relationship shows in this drama is more like a slow burn type of relationship that develops over time. Also their love is so pure and sweet I can't help but admire their feeling toward each other, that could overcome so much pain and suffering ^^

R u talking about the scene when she introduce liang chen to all those girls lol, that was pretty funny she never picked up on her identity as female, and as a result trying her best to turn liang chen straight ^^ Once she realizes she has no chance, she gave up on yan Zhen. I'm glad you decide to pick it up again ^^

I guess our view points are different. It's true they knew she's evil, but compare to her who has been the heavenly empress for thousand of years who has the heavenly emperor on her side and that's the reason I think muguang is stupid baijue even tested him by asking about wuhuan after he woke up and his answer was the devil couldn't be her since she was away and she wouldn't hurt her daughter, tianqi was consider as the enemy of the god realm from his action in the past, baijue has been missing for thousand of years, so even if he wants to accuse wuhuan he still need proof since she could hide her devil power. Another reason is both tianqi and baijue didn't have full power. Baijue return much earlier than he intended when wuhuan attacked qingmu, his power was damage as a result. Wuhuan was already a devil at the time, so he doesn't know the extent of her power, he didn't want to risk hurting houchi and his son I remember he told his son that was the reason he stayed away from him and his mother, he needs 100 years to regains his power. His worry is much more than wuhuan since he still has to deal with settling the peace between the gods and demons before he's gone. Also he was aware of wuhuan activity at all times by keeping her daughter at his side, why does he let her stay with him if not to monitor her mother's activity giving her a sense of accomplishment thinking she could win luring her to reveal all her secrets so they could deal with her as well as return tianqi's innocent in the murder of goddess yuemi. I actually thought baijue was a master mind and has everything planned out to his desire. The only thing he failed to predict was houchi would fall in love with qingmu causing her so much heartache as a result when baijue regains his consciousness.
