The story & relationship between Yan Hui & her master Ling Xiao was one of the best things about this, which emptied my tear glands, aside from TianHui.

Back from the Brink was truly a gem, a rare treasure. Yan Hui is one of the BEST heroines of all xianxias/wuxias. Tian Yao is dragon that conquered my whole heart. Its rare for a xianxia to have the factor called "emotionally motivational or inspiring", this one embodies this marvelously. While it has the xianxia essence of heart-wrenching, heart fluttering, tear jerking roller coaster ride, it has this very emotionally inspiring quality that sets it apart from many & most xianxias out there. It also assembles a set of amazing bunch of characters, that reminds me a lot of the wuxia genre. As much as it was a story about the unconditionally profound love between Tian Yao & Yan Hui, it was that much a story of their individual growth as a person throughout their journey & evolving into powerful yet vulnerable beings, both individually and together, by polishing their inherently vast kindness into strength. It was about how the world could be if they never gave up their light of hope when the world was enshrouded by the darkness of despair. It was about how they came Back from the Brink, with their heart protected by the scale of kindness, love & warmth from the deadliest phantoms of darkness.

Tian Yao & Yan Hui will always be among my most favorite characters each & also one of my dearest drama couples. Love them to pieces. Hu Xin really protected my heart. But now that Hu Xin is gone, who will protect my heart?

Episode 31 destroyed me. Crushed my heart into stardust that'll be fluttering scattered in the wind for a millennium. The whole episode is one of the BEST episodes ever made in cdramaland. Left my tear glands empty.

I want to wish for it badly but keeping myself from hoping too much for fear of disappointment if it doesn't manifest haha. Youku has been heavily promoting all the dramas this year, with shoots & whatnot, hopefully they don't make an exception for ALZ. Would be awesome if harper bazaar remembers their love for Dilraba & Gong Jun,too.

Yeah....hopefully July! Looks like their reunion sparked the anticipation in everyone who forgot/knew LOA existed haha

Looks like Harper's Bazaar is our new bestie & savior when it comes to AnLe Zhuan crumbs. Not only did they exclusively feature Dilraba & Gong Jun in individual magazine covers, shoots & interview, they also arranged their seats side by side to award them together. Congratulations to both Dilraba & Gong Jun for winning the Popular Icon of the year awards.

I was so used to constant drought & clowning from Youku, never expected such grand crumbs, to be honest. A total surprise attack.

Its such a pleasure to see Dilraba & Gong Jun being the besties, chatting & laughing happily
(because this is a rare sight in galas/red carpets where Dilraba rarely interacts).
It was almost jaw-dropping to see Dilraba take his hand willingly when he offered while getting up the stage (which is a first & the rarest sight because even when she wears huge gowns with long trails, she prefers & goes up independently in her own Queen style without taking any man's hand).

Thanks Bazaar for the magical crumbs. I'm so looking forward to their BTS now even more, after discovering their beautiful friendship & bonding.
