The beginning of the 5th episode went so far from my expectations in terms of reality, I had to stop and watch something else. Nothing is more precious than time, this is a zero stars drama for me, I won't include it in my list. Thanks for a good review, much appreciated.
Terribly sorry for the way you were treated, you don't deserve it, on the contrary, we need more people like you. This drama disappointed me so much, I'm now looking to read only the 'bad' reviews. As far as I'm concerned, this drama should only get 6-7 stars maximum, to give it so many 10s, it's unthinkable, I don't understand who is watching this to be so enthusiastic about so many faults in it.
Totally agreed, waste of time watching this..Plenty of much better slice of life c dramas are available to watch..The…
I watched the first 4 episodes today and at the start of the 5th I gave up, there is nothing in it to keep me going. 8-9 episodes to see if it's going somewhere, but it wasn't, no need to feel guilty about stopping. I recommend Legally Romance - now that's something to keep you interested.
Double speed is for dramas that have something valuable somewhere in there in all those dozens of episodes, I watched 4 episodes and started the 5th, absolutely abysmal. Dropped it, people say it gets boring in the second part - now, that's incredible to me, I find it lacking in all departments.
I too feel this drama would probably ok with only half the episodes. The plot was not interesting enough to have…
I filled that gap watching The Brightest Star in the Sky - not bad, although I'm not interested in the details of the entertainment industry, it was fast paced so I didn't get bored. Legally Romance is one of my top favourite dramas, absolutely delightful.
yes ... I totally agree with youneither they were together nor they were happy in their present lives........that…
That's right, what was it with her being on her own after deciding to break up with him because of the long distance relationship ? Not worth thinking about it, the story seems to have been written by different people and badly stitched together.
Haha! Thank you. I liked it so far. I honestly just wanted to share my review and didnt wanted to rate it but…
Finished ! I gave it a 6 because I enjoyed watching the last 4 episodes where the fencing and endless chatting stopped and it became a normal drama, in my opinion. People are disappointed with the end, I'm not, I expected it. But, friend, I'm curious as to what your impressions are after the finale ?!
What have I just read ? A masterpiece ! You are amazing, which proves how bad Korean scriptwriters are. And they get all the fame and the money ? Not fair, not fair at all. Where do I complain ?! -:)
I actually love open endings BUT they are reserved for something incredibly clever, a story that would NEED an open ending, something that would let the viewer contemplate on what they have been watching and add to it their own thoughts. With this one, though, what can I add if it's so fragmented and incomplete ? Not much, the last episodes don't make much sense because of so much missing information.

"What happened is not much." Ha ha ha ! Brilliant review, I agree with your every word. I'm not as generous as you, however, my score for it is only 6. Not knowing much about fencing and fencing in Korea and fencing as an olympic sport I sort of believed everything as it was been showed to me. Now, I'm reading in reviews that the whole thing is pure fantasy, nothing ever existed and fencing was only added to the Olympic competitions in 2004. OK, then, it was all a big fat lie, I really believed that it was the dramatised version of real events but no, just something to waste people's time with an overly dramatised of ...nothing. A 31 year old playing the part of an 18 year old in a country that abounds with young talent - why ? Why put that ridiculous wig on her ? After changing the wig to make her look 'older' she still looked exactly the same, no change. I never bought the 'love story' between them, when he said 'I love you' to her I took it as 'I'm in love your your youth, your loveliness, your boundless energy' and then I was proved right, it was a love born out of mutual need, they both needed someone to rely on in those days of uncertainty.
I am yet to watch the original ver. but just this cast makes me very excited for it !!
This is one of those dramas where the plot is way more interesting than the cast. Because of this, personally, I would prefer it if the main parts were given to rookie actors so viewers would concentrate on the story.
CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS! I have full faith in the actors/creators and their ability to deliver a strong and fresh…
Judging by other Korean remakes or even Korean originals, other Asian producers do come up with better productions, I don't think the Koreans are the best when it comes to dramas, only music.
definitely not watching this. I have nothing against re,akes of course; I watched tons of them already. But for…
It's equally interesting to learn about other people's feelings about the remake. After I finished watching it, the idea of a remake would have been unthinkable but now, a few months after the event I am excited at the idea.
I loved loved lovedddd Someday or One day, the story was soo well written and the acting / character portrayals…
I love remakes, I watched so many of them. As for this remake, I'm so curious as to what the Koreans will come up with as the original was absolutely perfect. I usually follow my favourite actors but not this time, the way it will be directed is the first thing I'll be looking for, the task is huge and responsibility to at least come up with equally good drama is unparalleled.
I recommend Legally Romance - now that's something to keep you interested.
Ten stars, both of you !
