Korean broadcast update: Okay, apparently, the drama already started its broadcast on Korea, on channel ASIA UHD, on 21/10, and it will play every Monday - Thursday 2 episodes a week, with original audio and Korean subs.
I cannot find where the rumour of the extra scenes started, but there's talk of it on facebook & twitter (among other places), if anyone can find anything confirmed I'd appreciate it.
No any extra scenes yet, I think, for now, though I did manage to find someone that claims: "I will post a video IF they really released a unreleased scene were not show on tencent"
Anybody knows if the Netflix version includes some new scenes or is it the same version as in WeTV? And is the…
I think it is the exact same version. But subs are (slightly) worse in my opinion. From what I've heard from other people, it's available on Netflix Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, but I don't know about other regions. As for other versions of the drama with more scenes, stand tall and wait, because there are rumours that the version of Chen Qing Ling on air soon in Korean tv channels, will include extra scenes from the original version that they had to delete due to China's censorship!!!!
I know, and I agree! But the reason I'm so excited it's on Netflix is for all those people who don't know about The Untamed, or don't even watch Asian dramas, getting exposed to it through Netflix & discovering it!! Wouldn't it be great if the rest of the world talked about this drama, too??? :)))
now rewatching ❤️ one thing i noticed in the sub though, actual name is shown instead of its direct translation..like…
That's one little annoying thing Netflix does in all of its c-drama subs!! I'm willing to let it pass though, if the rest of the subs are okay, for the sake of the unlimited new exposure Netflix will offer our dear A-Ling..
OMG I'm so excited for this!!! I've submitted a million request already, I can't believe they'll make it happen!!…
I haven't watched it yet (just my brother), it's on my to-do list, but not a priority, because... Well, no drama is actually a priority now, still on The Untamed/Mo Dao Zu Shi syndrome, lol!! :D
The Untamed will be released on Netflix!source: https://www.gamersky.com/news/201910/1231123.shtml?tag=wap
OMG I'm so excited for this!!! I've submitted a million request already, I can't believe they'll make it happen!! Maybe now I'll manage to convince my family to watch it (my brother watched the King's Avatar when he happened upon it on Netflix even though he'd never watched an Asian drama before!), along with my rewatch :)))
Wow i have been waiting for this, i through i never see NHS again, i'm his fans after i read the novel."He was…
You may want to spoiler tag your comment!! Btw, I agree with you, NHS is a fascinating character, one could easily write another book about him (which is actually true about 90% of the characters in the novel/drama, oh well)!
I wanted to slap practically Everyone in Ashes of Love, Every Single Character (okay, except for my adorable Demon Princess maybe!), though not ALL the time, but every one had their annoying moments/scenes, some more and some less.
Yes, but be prepared to have your heart broken into tiny pieces, never to be mended again!!
It's maybe the best historical drama Korea has produced imo (from those I've seen at least), so I'd advice you not to miss it, if you can handle it! It's also spectacular, with a well-knit plot, the most exciting fight scenes, great characters that border on anti-heroes (especially the very grey protagonist), charming relations & relationships between the characters, food for the eyes (omg Lee Bang Ji miam miam :P ), for the mind, for the ears (the OST!), and for soul!! Although, if you really can't handle it, you may want to skip the last 10-15 episodes or so... :/
I generally tend to watch costume/historical dramas over modern ones, either Chinese or Korean, with a preferences for epic wuxia cdramas. But your article convinced me to give a try to some popular non-historical Korean dramas for a change (especially Hotel Del Luna) in the near future!! Maybe I should expand my horizons a little, lol, especially if there's some fantasy and/or action to the mix!! :)

(Now the rest of the world should join our little obsession club soon, right?? :D )
