I wanted to slap practically Everyone in Ashes of Love, Every Single Character (okay, except for my adorable Demon Princess maybe!), though not ALL the time, but every one had their annoying moments/scenes, some more and some less.

It's maybe the best historical drama Korea has produced imo (from those I've seen at least), so I'd advice you not to miss it, if you can handle it! It's also spectacular, with a well-knit plot, the most exciting fight scenes, great characters that border on anti-heroes (especially the very grey protagonist), charming relations & relationships between the characters, food for the eyes (omg Lee Bang Ji miam miam :P ), for the mind, for the ears (the OST!), and for soul!! Although, if you really can't handle it, you may want to skip the last 10-15 episodes or so... :/
I generally tend to watch costume/historical dramas over modern ones, either Chinese or Korean, with a preferences for epic wuxia cdramas. But your article convinced me to give a try to some popular non-historical Korean dramas for a change (especially Hotel Del Luna) in the near future!! Maybe I should expand my horizons a little, lol, especially if there's some fantasy and/or action to the mix!! :)

Do bear in mind it's not one of those godly magical powers type of xianxia, there are many flaws, so pls lower your expectations and watch with an open mind." I think the op meant The Untamed is not your typical xianxia, and: a) people who are used to the typical "gods & demons & overpowered heroes" kind of xianxia should not judge it based on that, since the Untamed's world-building is not exactly the typical for a xianxia. In fact, world-building isn't only not developed enough (perhaps on purpose in the novel in my opinion, in order to focus elsewhere), but represented confusingly in the drama & with lots of technical flaws. b) people who have no idea about what a wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan is, should probably first familiarize themselves with these genres, how the world works in these kind of genres, and especially the usual tropes & conventions of the dramas/movies of this kind before judging The Untamed of being confusing or unrealistic. In general, they should hold on, and keep watching with an open mind, because this drama is totally worth your time, patience and dedication!! (At last that's my view on the subject, plus what I think michyeonnaba meant.)

Well, Taiwan is the only Asian country to 100% allow same sex marriages, and even recognising said couples same rights as heterosexual couples now, since a few months ago!! Hooray for Taiwan, I hope more countries will follow their lead in the near future!!

I think the op meant The Untamed is not your typical xianxia, and:
