the plot is kinda disturbing. I still don't feel the chemistry between Nam Young and Kang Ro Seo. I think second…
Agreed, except the alcohol theme is the whole point of the drama, hence the name "Moonshine" lol. This had so much comedy potential, but oh man, I'm disappointed.
can someone tell me if this is worth starting after having loved the red sleeve?
Definitely nowhere near The Red Sleeve level. Alright to watch the odd episode as a filler drama. I hoped it would be a nice uplifting comedy, but it's not funny at all. The first episode seemed promising for a light comedy, but it quickly went downhill. It's alright to watch, but nothing special
I'm disappointed. The first episode seemed promising for a light-hearted comedy with a generous dose of slapstick, but 6 episodes in, it's just not funny... I also find the acting and chemistry of the ML and FL lacking... Meh.
It's made by the same production team behind Longest Day.
I've watched Tribes and Empires. Beautifully done, the visuals and the acting were 1st rate, but they bit off more than they could chew with that one imo, which is a shame because despite the slow pace, I really loved it, especially the different worlds. It had this mysticism around it that made it so special. BUT oh man, they really could have created a whole wrapped up story in 75 episodes if they had sped up the pace a bit and dropped a few unnecessary extras.
The first 15 episodes feel great, there is a promise of grand story ahead, and some interesting characters like…
I kind of agree that it lost a certain something that it had in the beginning. It was very witty and sophisticated and hard to predict. I'm not sure when it was exactly, but it became less extraordinary from a certain point. Maybe the Monastery when he gets the Dahuanting? The first few episodes were Ever Night standard, and then the quality sank imo... But it's still very good, just not extraordinary.
Love that dude. Damn, that sword display in the last episode was epic. I'm have a sneaking suspicion that those…
Hahaha! Too true. Do you remember who they said it was who made the bet? I can't recall. It couldn't have been Miss Hehe? I think her role in all of this is also more than it seems.
Until now, we don't necessarily know her true identity or her true motives. She was married to Lord Jing'an, Zhao Heng, but he told XFN that he married her to protect his son because he could tell she was up to no good... So, she has some agenda we don't yet know of.
Where is sexy man Vengo Gao going to show up again?? Missing him in these past episodes lol
We won't see him till XFN goes back to Bei Liang with epic skills to show off. Lol I bet, XFN will either have to convince him completely like with Ning Emei, or he'll end up being next season's villain competing for control of Bei Liang... We'll have to see...! Next big stop is Wudi Cheng.
God of Sword's fans please gather here...hehhehe...i love this guy even with the gross nose picking...after Humagner…
Love that dude. Damn, that sword display in the last episode was epic. I'm have a sneaking suspicion that those notes by the front door were left there deliberately for him somehow... Probably all part of Xu Xiao's master plan lol.
Actually I don't know why they were separated into part 1, 2 and 3 because they aired right after one another…
By the way, this drama is unlike any other K or C drama I have ever watched, so don't expect any cliches or typical drama formulas. There's a reason why it is one of the highest rated K dramas in SK and internationally. There's only one flaw imo and that is the blood.
Actually I don't know why they were separated into part 1, 2 and 3 because they aired right after one another…
It's not concluded, no. I haven't watched it for a while, so I'm a bit hazy about how the ending was. I think it felt like the conclusion of a chapter. The characters fulfilled part of their destiny, you could say. And the next season will be them taking on their new roles.... The beginning of a new era, of sorts.
