After Alchemy of Souls, I felt he was a bit overrated, but in this drama WOW. Not just his acting, but his whole screen presence is so intense. I'm blown away by his performance.

Which dramas are you referring to? I've seen steamy scenes in modern dramas. Except for a couple this year like Queen Woo (which I sadly haven't seen yet) and The Queen who Crowns has a bit, but nothing major.

Historical dramas are often really pure. This one definitely has that sexual tension you see more in modern dramas

The cinematography is just insanely good. I haven't seen something of this standard before from K dramaland, especially so stylised. The light and colouring adds so much to the whole vibe of the drama.

I just watched up to episode 5 too and I think the chemistry between the leads is 🔥🔥🔥 in a kind of repressed, silent way. There's this tension between them that is very promising.

I just watched the first few episodes and I can't understand why the rating is so low. It's like next level in terms of cinematography. Everything about it feels very elevated, dark and intense. Before I started, I had seen a clip and been unconvinced but the first episode got me totally hooked.

Omg you should still watch it! It's still one of THE best K dramas. It's so so funny. The ending was a little bit disappointing, but only compared to how amazing the rest of the drama is. The comedy alone is worth a watch.
