The dream is important in the plot for character growth and has lots of hidden details that will be relevant later. TTJ learns a lot during the dream about emotions and relationships. Both the leads behave differently after the dream. I actually really liked the dream sequence. I love the Gods costumes, so unique compared to other xianxias.

I remember reading in the comments that the novel had a happy ending.

Yeah, I was wondering whether they were somehow the same person split in two or something. You never know with xianxias lol. Anyway, supposedly they're just role playing in the Bo'Re Dream, but the way LSS and CJM ended up in the God Realm remembering those times in the third arc made me feel like they had gone full circle.

How do you know that? I got the impression that TTJ and LSS are the reincarnations of Mingye and Sangjiu.

Is it ever explained in the book or drama why Mingye and the Devil God look the same? Did I miss some major detail?

Unlike some dramas, this is about personal development and each episode is one case, so there isn't a clear ending where everything gets wrapped up so it can easily continue into a second season and I will definitely be watching it!

It could easily be adapted for a second season as it is not a complete story like most Asian dramas. Every episode is a chapter of sorts which deals with its own case. I look forward to the next part!

This drama is a gift. I wasn't keen to watch it, but was hooked in the first few minutes. This drama is so unique, beautiful, wholesome, interesting, moving, sincere, authentic, educational... It's perfect in every way. I am hoping for a season 2.
