I love this drama but personally I found Immortal Samsara a snoozefest. There were some very good bits, but the filler episodes and subplots took over and dominated. I didn't like the support characters, they were 2 dimensional and shallow. However, tastes differ, so give it a go and see what you think!

Oh and in the beginning there is something about celebrating someone's mother and Gu Won says something like "Whose mother?" I'd have to rewatch it. Maybe his sister's mother died?

Not sure. I'm assuming first marriage? Probably an arranged marriage since she often says her blood is better than Gu Won's, so her mother was probably high status. So I doubt she is adopted.

I think they should have expanded that part. All that build up and that was it?

This drama has gone downhill a bit. Really enjoyed it until recently. Too cliche without hitting the spot.

Came here to say this. It came out of the blue and was so out of character for their relationship and her character. She seemed to be very decisive and committed once she decided to get together with him. I don't get it, but it will probably be a fake cliffhanger like last time. *rolls eyes*

I dunno, whenever actors talk about intimate scenes, they always say how uncomfortable they are because you are surrounded by lots of filming people watching you really close up 😂

I have to say, I love this drama. It's not a unique plot or has major villains or big ups and downs, but it's just so relaxing and enjoyable to watch. I love the actors, I love the whole vibe of the drama. It's nice to take a break from the angst and intensity of some other dramas.

It's an intellectually undemanding, feel good drama. But for what it is, it does it well!
