True... I don't mind a less critically acclaimed cast providing the performances are strong, so let's hope for the best... but what worries me is the baby voiced cringe vibes I'm getting from the trailer.
As for comparing it to ALP, I can't see why we shouldn't since it is literally the sequel. 😅

Of course I'm going to watch it. I am a huge ALP fan and therefore I was thrilled to see a sequel being made...

I hope very much that this drama is as good as ALP, but I'm mostly disappointed as ever by the toxic attitudes in this forum where you can't express any criticism without being targeted and labelled a "hater". It reminds me why I stopped interacting here to begin with. Like walking on eggshells. There has to be space in a forum for discussion without it becoming personal! It's just a drama after all...

I look forward to this drama airing, and hope my concerns regarding the trailer are unfounded and that it will blow me away.

I am a huge fan of Ancient Love Poetry and just want it to be as good as its predecessor, is that so much to ask? Do I need to get your permission to express my opinion or else be labelled a hater? Learn to have a discussion with someone without being unnecessarily rude. Completely uncalled for...

I have watched Love like the Galaxy, it's the only Zhao Lusi drama that I have enjoyed. I have watched so many C dramas. I know Zhao Lusi has many fans, but personally, I think she is overrated. Nevertheless, I hope this drama will not disappoint me, but I am not optimistic.

Unfortunately, a lot of people prefer mediocre dramas with bad acting.

Probably got a crappy director and crappy budget. The cast is weak too. Ugh.

Anyone else incredibly disappointed and annoyed by the trailer? It looks tacky, childish and cheesy full of baby voiced idiots. For such an epic, deep, soulful drama that ALP was, how could they make this kind of sequel? I really hope I'm wrong and that the drama lives up to its predecessor, but I am not optimistic...

This drama was so painfully underwhelming I had to drop it. Every episode felt like a chore, forcing myself through every dumb minute of it. It is so oversimplified and predictable, it is simply a waste of time. Snoozefest. I waited a long time for this drama to air, so I can only say it was a colossal disappointment. Every aspect of it is weak.

I've always had the opposite problem... 😅

Yes, I love this drama. Its understanding of the complexity of human psychology is very deep. The balance of light and dark is beautiful.
