My slight disappointment is teeny wheeny bc I have confidence in the show thus far. True we have our nit picks but to me, it’s the overall sha bang and it’s banging all right.
25. As a great supporter of the story, I admit I’m disappointed for the first time. The love/reconciliation arc is getting too stretched. It’s been balanced enough I felt as the cute moments of ShaoMing doing things showing his love for his wife. That’s him groveling. We haven’t seen XuYan show anything more except xiexie. Yes subtle moments of tenderness (car mopping) but I’m wanting more now. I felt for HM badly in this ep. Reverse slap of what her parents did to her. Man I felt bad. (His acting (WC) could have been more powerful bc that was pivotal but yeah. Disappointed in XY. BUT, directing is great. I’m positive it leads to greater quality so no panic everyone. This wait is a killer though.
25. Success in Yan Studio. Now I’m wondering if this is Lusi’s inspiration used in drama bc she actually did bring focus to cultural heritage, especially the crafts of people in remote villages after her illness recovery. Or she followed through from drama concepts. Either way, the Chinese heritage wins big from this drama so yeah, I expect more soaring in popularity.
Rewatching the part where he fell asleep onto her shoulder. You know if you know how those moments are embedded deep. Loved that part where slowly two people are building momentum of where they stand for each other. I love this gradual build up. Well done, director.
