Why do I feel so melancholy at every episode. One, I want to ease YuAn’s load, take some away, go with her to the amusement park and see her laugh; take a road trip with her and her grandma, sing silly songs, etc. Second, I want to give JiaQi my most squeezable warmest hug and most contagious silly joke so he can laugh heartily. Yeah, after episode nine that’s what I wanna do.
I can’t help feeling so bad for her. Young, carrying so much weight on her shoulders, lonely, abused yet she’s holding her own to survive. Makes me grateful even more knowing there’s so many in very unfortunate circumstances not of their choosing. I guess her loneliness and hearing someone recognizing her qualities draws her to him. Lots to absorb in ep 6. Sometimes we overlook something we take for granted yet for someone else, it’s solace. Loved grandma’s big smile and I need to look at the moon more often.
People who say that there was no romance in the original usually say that because of the age gap. I guess for…
Gosh, Dating in the Kitchen, Forbidden Flower, among others had significant age gap yet they didn’t raise (at least as far as I’m aware) that big of commotion. Oh well, people will have their biases no matter.
I think if we really like the quality of this and want it to show, everyone should rate each episode in the episode guide. Yeah, this is quite excellent stuff.
Again, I haven’t watched original and I know everyone says there’s no romance. But, after 4th ep why do i feel a strong vibe almost oozing in the two, I’d say mainly from her. She’s young, maybe confused by what she’s feeling but I feel there’s a connection she’s experiencing. Maybe in her very difficult life it’s a pull towards someone who is giving her care vibes? I don’t know about him, he’s grown and married so not sure exactly what he’s feeling. Being kind and helpful recognizing her hard dilemmas? Anyways, these are two people being drawn to each other for whatever reason and I’m almost hoping there’s an actual clear relationship and not just an interpretation at the end.
Well now, I'm usually staying away from controversial subjects and debates, because they tend to devolve into…
I think I’m getting your point but to be sure, are there complainers about the age gap? Sorry i just started so haven’t read much. To your point, in agreement. Im focused on what I can get from the story totally based on the fictional characters and its entertainment value. Whatever will be, i keep that in mind.
2nd and 3rd episodes are so good, and frustrating. First, though highly unrealistic, I give so much credit for the young woman caring for her elderly. Wheeling her out of hospital in bed is questionable but, what do i know of what someone can get away with in other places. Then the schemers and backstabbing? Yikes. Dark. Liking it a lot and hope it continues to flow well.
Just started. Rewatched first episode to absorb characters, their moods, and feel the dynamics of what’s happening. Verdict? Deep. Whatever anyone expected, it’s gonna come down to genre choice, and lots of patience. Glad I haven’t seen the original because I can immerse into this without any expectations. So far, it’s great.
