best to forget that one. I have. I saw more from the jealous scriptwriter of the Whirlwind girl. But it is not useful to dwell on these ; do we need to set up a boycotting thread targeting specific idiots and jealous types? Do we need to boycott The Whirlwind Girl ? Okay, it is not the ultimate masterpiece, but it was and is still enjoyable in its category, so I wouldn't go deleting it or suppressing it bc of one production member's misguided opinion that may have been triggered by "false friends".
Truly malevolent ones, I would not mind see banned from further influence making, perhaps : see me pointing in the direction of a certain "alley".
But many are just misguided fools who will wonder why they got the ultimate judges (audience) so wrong.

Given the magnitude of TLP in anticipation (it has been talked about for 2 YEARS!) and the huge fan base of Xiao Zhan as compared to that of almost rookie Chen Zheyuan and still young ZLS (despite all the work she has done), it is remarkable that Hidden Love and the two leads remain in the top list, faced with such heavyweight competition.

Delightfully amazing.

She always claimed to be subjective, with "weird ideas" and in the beginning, it did not faze me much. It is when she started preaching and imitating other parrots, being found out, and refusing to apologize, that she lost me. Totally, esp. with her malevolent misrepresentation of HL.
I was just doubting her judgement before, but now I have proof about the way she truly goes beyond that, how she despises her audience.
Do not listen or watch her videos, do not rely on her gold and land mines, is my advice.

There were a few excellent seduction scenes in that drama, yes. Not too many, never overdone, just a festival esp. in one episode that all us audience remember where Jiaxu went all out like a bullet train ! The next ones weaved in so much wholesome and not stifling respect that I was sighing in bliss : yes 🔥❤️🙂

In LLTG, after she "gave up" on educating CSS and handed the task over to the empress, she was not that psycho or monstrous as we at first perceived her to be...
But I admit I almost dropped LLTG in the first episodes because of the traumatic scenes, thanking MDL drama watchers for explaining to me and pointing out when my feelings would change if I stuck through the first 4-5 episodes. They did, to the point that I was glued to screen and only could rave about that drama.
Of course it helped that I found myself crushing on Wu Lei, just as I now do on Cheng Zheyuan 🤣🤣🤣 Serial screen crusher me !!! 🤣🤣🤣
If I was LBQ or a guy, I might crush on adorable ZLS too, or on Seven Tan, and a handful other ones.
Bai Jingting, Yang Yang (good singers both), Zhang Binbin (to die for deep voice), Chen Yufei, Xiao Zhan (good singer, and I like that he sang the Sally Yeh song for the GB Area show recently), Xu Weizhou (excellent pop rocker), and Ren Jialun (yes he too, because I like his music, especially the non OST ones), Z.Tao (same reasons as for Allen Ren) and a dozen more are also on my "crush" list of actors which does include some who are not songbirds (like CZY 🤣🤣🤣)
It will be hard to leave screens this summer with what's started and soon to land there!

Yes, it is a light hearted humming while she is rummaging to find clothes for Jiaxu who is stuck in hospital. It is not one of the 7 OST songs. I wonder if it could be a yihuik song...
No time to trawl through the yihuik song compilation MV; though, and it could be another playlist. The tune rings familiar but I can't place it right now.
I did find one song that was from a different OST. It's the Zhāng Yīháo (張洢豪) song : 遇见你的第一天起我就喜欢你 I've Liked You Since The First Day I Met You, from the c-drama 《时光与他，恰是正好 》Time and Him are Just Right OST
This song is featured in ep 12 when student Jiang Ming goes to the stage to sing and play it on the guitar, as a confesion to Sang Zhi who is already leaving and does not listen.

Thanks! I too prefer positive comments to general demolishing and nitpicking when it is clear, as ratings not only here but elsewhere show, that this one is a VERY GOOD and even EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD drama, and that the actress is indeed talented and deserving of praise.
Even for non keluli, it is worth it to go check out these threads : you are right.

It is unfortunate that we are deprived of a Discussion pin for posting what we know about the music, or the settings and shooting locales.

I have decided to abstain from listening to that mantis' often toxic rants filled with half baked notions that she dishonestly just copy pastes from toxic hater social media when she finds it. Not just for ZLS whom she clearly dislikes but also about most other young successful actors. She deigns to be less poisonous in the case of some lesser known or older well known ones, but even there, I don't trust her advise any longer.
The only ones I more or less listen to are Marcus an CdramaInvasion. But I prefer to follow my gut feeling, because even recoms from some I suspected were thinking along same lines as I do, have not always brought me to watch stuff I enjoyed. Perhaps I am quirky. Anyway, I don"t purport to set up a channel with my recoms.
I once added a list in FB but to me, now, even reviewing is a chore. I just keep tabs on what I watch for myself and am not trying to spread the "good gospel" to everybody... It's bad enough that I indulge in adding comments here.
I prefer adding facts, about settings, music, places, historical details, when I feel like it, now in Discussion, if there is a feature for it (don't know why there isn't for this drama. Although I suspect it has to do with the toxic water army targeting Rosy.

But surely crushes are not only a female thing.
We did witness young Fu's crush for young Zhi... and Jiang Ming's later.
Of course, these crushes are rather conventionally heterosexual, but they could also happen in same sex relationships. In the manhua, it is even spelled out that probably, since he's been without a gf for that many years, Jiaxu must be in love with Sang Yan!
Yet, bromances and sistermances are not necessarily sexual : it can just be a warm friendship, like the ones portrayed in this sweet and very real-feeling c-drama.
Although the characters are more "ideal" than they could be in real life: no one is as perfectly dedicated as Sang Zhi, nor as gentle as Jiaxu, sigh. If there were such people, the world would be a better place. The misunderstandings they go through to doubt each other are often just the truth, in real life, and disappointments have to be dealt with.
Btw the wise advice that Jiaxu gave to Zhi, to send unwanted suitors packing, resonated with me. "Thank you for your care about me. But I have already someone else in my heart."and let the other initiate if they still hoped we could stay just friends. That rang so true: it is the kindest way do it,even if there is no one else really.
This lovely drama is packed with sound advice like that, plus incentives to not let go totally of oneself and end up obsessed and mentally ill like the Jiang Ying character or led to betray and become evil like the Xin Zhenru classmate.
